I figure I will let you know a few glitches I have run into so far while playing. I noticed a LOT of really small map glitches. Like walking through furniture, counters, barrels, etc. Though those are very minor though and not really worth mentioning because they are all over the place.

A few really annoying ones I have seen so far though are:

I can't complete the magic frog quest because the witch reset the counter on how many frogs I gave her. I think this might have something to do with the lady in the capital who resets your quest log to clear out all the completed quests. Because I noticed that after I did that was the first time I noticed that the counter had reset. But, I can't be sure.

And in Hero City. When I try to exit the north side of town to the orc valley the door opens and then the characters are stuck in place and cannot move. Stopping me from opening the shortcut.

A couple of the bigger map ones I have noticed are(Though nothing game-breaking):

When sailing near Kele Port through the river you can move through the bridges in the river and begin sailing around the continent on the ship.

In Garlic Town, in the upper right hand corner of town, you can walk through the wall leading to a field area with a NPC with a line of dialog and a house. I am pretty sure this area is unfinished because it looked pretty plain and there is no exit to the right. Also, when you come back into town you appear next to the middle of the wall where you were probably planning to have a exit out of town.

On the hillside to the right of the bridge to the hillside town(To the right of where you find the fairy/warrior guy. You can walk off the hill in the top few tiles and walk outside of the map.

Curse my greed!!!!!

First Fred, now Viviana. LOL!!

And what if I sacrified Tarito Mining City for 10,000 Gold?????

:-)

Couple questions.

First, Viviana went on a date and never came back. Does she run off somewhere or did the game just glitch?? I wouldn't mind too much, but she took my mythril sword. LOL!

Also, I just saved Sibel from the Vampire and went back to town and got exiled. Now I can't return and my ship is docked at the capital. How exactly do I go about finishing up that quest with the king so I can get sailing again. :-)

Edit: Nevermind about question number 2, the ship appeared on the coast to the right of the capital. :-)

Decided to give this game a try because I am interested to see a open-world RPG made with RPGMaker. I am about 10 hours in atm and am actually enjoying it quite a bit.

I kinda like and hate how there is no real storyline or direction at all. It almost has a dark souls kinda feel to it in that regard. You enter the world and try and make it to the next town while hopefully not running into some enemies that will wipe the floor with you.

Also, one thing I find hilarious about this game is that it is the only game I can think of where it is actually safer to travel at night(In most cases). Because most of the enemies you run into will be sleeping at night. Makes it easy to farm tougher areas.

Anyway so far, some things I like and dislike about the game are:

Pros:

Good Mapping-Did a good job of making the world feel alive
Enemies will be asleep if you travel at night. Or stronger.
Status effects are VERY useful. Poison, STUN, Confuse, etc.
I like how you can pretty much do whatever you want

Cons:

Would of been nice to pick a class at the beginning and learn different skills/be able to equip different weapons/armor depending on which one you picked.
Minecart mini-game is extremely glitchy
Don't really like how the exits to areas are always only 1 space. Makes no sense on a lot of the maps.
Hunger/Thirst system is pretty useless
Andrei and Ioanna should both heal when staying at an inn

The game definitely grows on you though. At first I didn't really like it. But, the more I play, the more it puts its mitts into me and makes me want to keep playing. Now I am actually really enjoying the game.

Also, I was wondering a few things Casia.

First, If I had taken the ship to the other continent. Would I have not been able to go back to the starting continent for awhile. Completely changing how you go about playing the game??? Because if so, that is really cool.

And second, I have found a few glitches during my playthrough so far. Would you like me to document those and post them or PM them to you when I find them. Or, have you pretty much moved on from this game and would rather me not waste your or my time??

Man, this game looks great. Graphics remind me of the old Lunar games.

Just voted for you on greenlight and will be waiting to play the full version on steam once it is released.

World's Dawn

It is releasing on Steam on 01/25/2016.

The Brief and Meaningless Adventure of Hero Man

Ooohhh..another old-school RPG by the maker of Brave Hero Yuusha. Might have to give this one a try.

Edit:

Ok I just played the game for about 15 minutes or so. Wasn't sure about the game until I went into the well after the girl's necklace. Now, I am fully on board. Will be finishing this game up after work tomorrow.

Half-Off Hero: The World Needs Savings Review

author=dinkledaberry
Hopefully one day I can come back to Half-Off Hero and give it some visual and mechanical updates to streamline the whole experience a lot more.

Nice. I would love to see that. It is impressive that you were able to finish this game in 30 days for the IGMC. I would be interested to see what you could do with the game with a little more time.
