CloseI always wanted to go around the world interviewing prominent members of the rpg maker community for a documentary, sort of like Indie Game the Movie. It's definitely on my bucket list :)
AN RMN con would be an interesting idea. But I have the feeling it would somehow end horrifically. Either that or it would be such a legend that nobody forgot it for the next 100 years of gam mak.
I'm pretty sure only two people would be there.
Though if there were people there, I think I'd be able to have fun.

Everyone would have to wear username-tags on their chests so they could be identified, it'd be like a support group/really horrible speed dating.

It was me, Dudesoft and Hexatona. RMN Meet 2011 (or was it 2010? Is it 2014 already??)
But think about it! Hundreds of gam mak nerds together in one place. It'd be paradise! We would talk about game design, have gaming contests, make lame RMN inside jokes and be like one big family...
...until the first troll shows up, or people start arguing over which maker is superior, or someone meets another member who wrote a bad review for his game, and it all becomes a horrible chaos...

You guys are too pessimistic. I've been to online meets before. They're not as awkward as you might think. One person knows one person, that person knows another, so it goes, and introductions emerge from that.

I'd love something like this, but seeing as I've yet to meet Kyrsty (who lives, what, three hours away from me?) well... maybe one day I'll get to meet one of us. XD

As soon as I need to make a stopover in Saskatchewan I'm driving right to Kentona's house and sitting on his lawn until he fights me. How that for an RMN Meet?
In all seriousness I'll be living in Toronto soon, so it would rule if there was an RMN meet after that since it'd be way easier to make it there from the centre of the country.
