Jungler: Canyon

Canyon is the only jungler that has ever played LCK to be awarded a pentakill but his journey to get to this spot has been filled with a few difficult moments. Canyon was a member of Damwon Gaming in late 2018 and was a major part of the scrims-kings' era, but playing the best junglers of the world when he was just 17 and beating the best of them must have been extremely exciting for a youngster. Canyon continued to perform the same thing in 2019 , but gradually others caught on to his tactics and this affected the performance of Damwon Gaming. Canyon did not reach the level he believed would be able to be at but we saw glimpses of his excellence and there was a sense of confidence within the Korean community that he could be able to go against the top players at Worlds. Canyon was an excellent start to the tournament, however, Jankos beat his opponent in G2 Esports.

Canyon and Damwon persevered throughout the year and finally reached the promised country. Their ultimate glory was the revenge they took on G2 Esports on Wednesday, in the semi-finals. Canyon has defeated every jungler that who he defeated last year and Suning Gaming is the only thing stopping him from winning the Summoner's Cup.

Mid-Made Showmaker

Showmaker may be the most competitive player on the team and it is evident through his interviews. When asked to rank how crucial he is for the current performance of the team, Showmaker replied: "I find that even when I win, I am just carrying the weight and when I lose, I have zero presence". Showmaker stated that it is hard for 20-year old players to carry the expectations and cheers of a multitude of supporters every week. Everyone on the team trusts Showmaker and often claim that they are the most vocal member on the team . However, the young midlaner has often admitted to doubting himself often.

Showmaker stated in an interview this was his most successful tournament, however, shortly afterward, he stated that he believes this is his last tournament. G2 Esports were prominently in Showmaker's thoughts all year. He often spoke about how he wanted revenge for last year's loss. We could see how happy he was with their win this weekend. Showmaker was always spamming emotes, and even was the one to steal G2 Esports post-game celebration to show that he doesn't accept any disrespect to his team or his region. We will be seeing an uncompromising Showmaker who's more comfortable and confident in the past than ever before, because he is focused towards the future. ADC: Ghost

Ghost is without doubt the most outstanding player of the year, but for his teammates Ghost is the comedian. He is really funny and is constantly trying to make the room laugh by his jokes and ease tension. He joked with a casual grin about his goals for the season during the earlier part of the year and said that they'd be able to win eleven consecutively more to earn their spot in the finals. Damwon Gaming was in desperate need of that. Damwon had a player that was really confident in his abilities and Ghost filled that hole for Damwon Gaming.

Ghost's former teammate, support legend Madlife loves him. He awarded Ghost the title of scrim-god, largely because he was unable show the show was expected of him. However, this year, Ghost and Damwon overcame their stage demons and the sky's the limit.

Beryl Support

Damwon Gaming's primary shotcaller is Beryl. He is the longest-running member of Damwon Gaming and has been playing there for the longest time. Beryl was once an ADC but when Nuclear was brought into Damwon Gaming from H2K, the team agreed to share time with Hoit as the support player for the team. Beryl was always on the sidelines, learning more about his teammates and the game , however, Coach Kim was not consistent with his team selection and he didn't get the chance to demonstrate his skill as a world elite support. Beryl was able to show his capabilities this season under Coach Zefa.
