Kingdom of Honor (Tactical Adventure Demo) Review

Hello,

Thank you for the review. I understand and agree with some of the points you've made and would like to share my feedback on your review.

As I continue to work on the game and get more music, I may decide to change the music in different places depending on what I think fits and what doesn't.

As far as the difficulty, I understand that as well but I did that on purpose. I wanted to make it very challenging from the get go. However I will make parts easier if the majority of people have an issue with it.

Also the reason you can't walk around and interact with things in the different shops is because I am making it more in the style of Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre, games in which you can't walk around AT ALL. I wanted the player to be able to move around the map (and in origin stories) to at least give some control to a game that isn't designed around it. Thats why you can't walk around in battle locations or anywhere for that matter (besides origin stories).

Overall, I agree with a lot of your points. I am not much for designing maps so I will probably be replacing some of them at some point. Also with the separate scenes, that is there because sometimes when a character attacks another they don't "jump" to the right position to attack (animation wise). Didn't like it as it was too distracting in my opinion.

Overall everybody has different taste, and I appreciate knowing yours because I want this to be fun for as many people as I can. However, I won't be able to impress everybody. Thank you tons for taking time out of your life by playing enough of my game to give it a fair review. I will take your suggestions into consideration and use it to help the game in different areas if I feel it needs it.

Thanks again!

[RMVX ACE] Need location designer for upcoming comedy RPG game

Hey guys,

My name is Joseph Torres & I have been using RPG Maker ever since the first one (RPG Maker 95). Although I haven't made any games in a while, I decided to green light an idea I had a few years ago.

Story: The game centers around a lone pirate by the name of J. Wolf, who is tired of having no respect from humans & monsters alike. He feels he is a hero...but to everyone else....he is just an inconvenience. He runs into the apparent "savior of all lands", a knight that the people count on & look to for protection. He decides to help the savior on a new quest so he can get riches in return...but things go wrong & the knight gets stuck in a cave, leaving the wolf to be held responsible for the disappearance (only a small synopsis of what happens early in the game)

I have come to realize that the reason I don't get far in finishing games is because I lose interest when I have to create the next town, forest, etc. because to me, it takes too long on top of the technical aspects. I came to this forum because I know there is a good amount of very talented game makers who do this stuff for fun. I basically seek someone (or someones) to be in charge of solely designing the locations in the game (towns, forests, etc.). Everything else (characters, items, scripts, dialogue, etc.) I have no problem doing myself. If you are willing to assist me, then understand that there are no deadlines or set dates that you will need to make these locations under. Meaning, you can take your time. If you make one location & don't feel like making another one for a while, no rush! If you were suppose to have something done for me at a certain day & you pass it, fine by me! I will work around what you decide to do, not the other way around.

Other then that, my only request is to not use the default tile set that comes with RPG Maker VX Ace, as I want the game to have a different look then the default. Also, for your help & to show my appreciation, I will not only include your name in the credits (of course right), but I will also create a very important character based on your choice of look, name, & personality.

I want this to be a fun filled & hilarious pirate-like adventure, kind of like Monkey Island! Thank you all for your time!
