okay, so..
i had missed the stairs that lead to the last piece of memories before
^ ^; but after i read the tablet (just the 2nd one because the another were illegible), i get a bad end because after that i straightly run to the cold world. Is there anything I have to do first before I jump into the cold world? Should I go to the purple pond/crypt? Then what I've to do there?

many many thanks Sagara-san :D You're really so kind

Wrong! The all the tablets are legable, it's just part of the puzzles!
To get to the good(secret end) you need to solve all three puzzles that the tablets describe! Start with the 3rd: go to the crypt, right of the save point(where you enter)in the third column, drop down to the bottom, thre is a hole, drop down it and watch the scene. 2nd: go to assylum, move the square rock under the broken stained glass, stand on rock, enter, watch scene, 1st: go to shrine, talk to right most sainth(if you didn't), go to ice tower, talk to the sainth(left of the one that mentioned about the 2nd artifact), go to asylum, after the save piont go take the left door, there are stairs on the left, check the grave at the top(the rest is obvious, but just in case, go to the place where the sainth in the shrine is and turn left and climb a few platforms and you'll see the door! :-), watch the scene.) Go back tothe cold world, go down and watch the secret (good) ending! :-)

thanks Sagara-san :D now i'm stuck at
finding the person who had the artifact. the sainth said he/she was at the west, but i'm not sure where he/she was
He HAD the artifact! Until YOU took it(2nd one)! Hint:
Just climb the stairs, read the tablets(hints on how to get the secret ending:-))get to the top, get artifact and remember about the puddle(your next objective)! :-)

uuh... i stuck after found three memories :( can anyone gives full walkthrough? Thanks :D
Talk to all people in the cave(leftmost from the tree), go to assylum (where you found the second) push the square right and go right all the way until a dead end, talk to the ghost(sainth), look at the bush(to get some barries), and go back to the people and talk to them again. :-)

Sainth

I'm happy you did take the direction you took with this game! It's eerie, subtle and well written. Beleve it or not, a good story and atmosphere is (and was )in utmost demand! And I prefer this game to any of you other projects, that's for damn sure!
P.S. Play Sainth before playing Wraith or better yet- skip Wraith all together!
Wraith ruins the entire experience of Sainth and Wraith isn't even that good!

Chain of Retribution

Hey Ocean, will there be a walkthrough like in paradice blue or a check list, or a secrets reveal? Cauz I just whant to make sure I didn't miss anything and get the most out of this game!

I don't want to sound bad, or something, but I belive that games made with RMXP are extremely easy to "hack". I have seen various tools online for this job, however I never tested them myself. I belive that this is going to give you some problems, since your game is commercial, but I assume that you know this, so I leave this topic alone.

Besides this, I am not sure why you choose RMXP as your engine. The built in scripts do nothing for you to make a sidescroller (and making a tile based one is extremely stupid), not to mention, that you want open world exploration. (this means real time "chunk" loading? or just a lot of connected maps?)
I belive that you need to rewrite a LOT of things in ruby, if not nearly all of the scripts. Or you can use some workarounds with default scripts, but that will just run dog slow.

You would be better off with a more performant engine (sphere, ika, or even game maker) and writing your own scripts from scratch (which you would do anyways in XP). You will save a lot of hair pulling, time you spend on code optimization, and your playerbase will be MUCH more pleased. Also, these alternatives are free (except for game maker).

Source: I did an ABS in rpg maker XP, and then ported to ika. I got 20x more framerate. (by the way, I was experienced in ruby, but knew little about python. The problem lies in the rendering technique that XP uses. They used some kind of junk-software renderer. In turn, ika, and sphere uses openGL, and game maker directx, so the difference in performance is tremendous).

Now this is only my opinion. I don't want to force you to abandon your choice, but keep these in mind.

Best regards!

Dude, I usually am very cautious when buying games online, but a game from you! I was ready to PREORDER the game... until I found out it's on RPG maker XP! Please reconsider and make a commertial game on an engine that is NOT optimized by chimps! Like Wolf RPG editor (see misao http://vgboy.dabomstew.com/other/misao.htm and mad father http://vgboy.dabomstew.com/other/madfather.htm)!
Thank you for your concern. I chose RM XP because I noticed that the popular game To the Moon was made in XP. So I figured that it was a capable engine for getting the job done. I guess my question now is, what steps did the creator of To the Moon take in order to ensure his game released commercially without too many problems.

Again thank you for the feedback, always food for thought.

Sure! You're welcome! To the Moon is a nice game BUT, you have to ask yourself: what made To The Moon so damn good? It was the story and atmosphere- the work of developers. It's flaws? Chuggy framerate and slowdowns- the fault of the engine! So next time ask yourself: what makes (insert game title here) so damn good? And To The Moon? I think Lone Survivor should be more your benchmark. If you haven't heard of it: it's a survival horror game developed by Jasper Byrne, a musician, that is considered more Silent Hill 2 than SILENT HILL 2! Any and all actions affect your ingame sanity which influences many things ,icl. endings. Stop looking at the other games and consentrate on makeing a great game! If it's good, it'll spread like wildfire among the comunity! (Lone Survivor - http://www.lonesurvivor.co.uk/)

wow this game is bizarre and disturbing. i'm not sure i'd say i 'like' it, but it definitely deserves more attention than it's getting.

i had to stop playing after a short while because it was making me feel queasy and disoriented, but i plan on writing a review anyway. that may sound negative but it's actually an endorsement, i respect games that make me feel something

i definitely want to know more about this game and its creator, although i'm a little scared of both lol
thank you fugue for your interest and for the review!
I intentionally made the game very vague, leaving the stranger sections up to the player to interpret, although it may seem random and open ended, there is indeed a story hidden in it all! thank you.

It is great for a developer to trust their audience to figure it out for themselves ! Something the AAA market should understand by now!

It is so rare to find a true horror game that really gets into your head.
The game truely succeeds at invoking fear, scorn, hate and madness.
Cudos to you Dingaling!
