Karsu's Sketch Topic
Made this topic to motivate me to draw, or something like that. I'll try and see if I can fill it up with scanned and tablet sketches. =)
And to start off with, a (messy) sketch of a provocatively dressed girl that I guess is the same as the one in that comic I posted. Or maybe not. She has the same clothes, though.
And a crappy scribble of Kirby as a bonus. Because circles are fun.

Girl with huge eyes. Don't ask.
Some girl with an axe. Quicky practice. Took a few minutes.
A guy! Yes, I do draw guys. Occasionally. This guy is pretty shit though. =)
Lame doodle that never got anywhere.
Very quick coloring test, using subdued colors. Kind of cute! Annnnd a bit suggestive.
This one took me a little while longer than most of the others here because of the sitting pose and semi-detailed (but rushed) coloring job. The one arm sucks and I'm not certain on the leg positions either.
An extremely quick (under five minute) sketch of what appears to be a waitress...maybe?
This was practice with hands and the chest area, and I spilled some color on there too. I worked on this off and on over a day, so I wouldn't call it a sketch, but it'd probably get more comments in this little sketch topic of mine anyway. =)
Unfinished Erin Esurance fanart. Jokingly requested by Harmonic, but I did it anyway! Might work on it tomorrow. =)

RPGS... you've beaten
Odin Sphere

I picked up Odin Sphere yesterday.
It seems completely outrageous that I can adjust to these production through the roof production values. I keep feeling like I ought to just pause the game to soak up the beauty of each frame.
The controls are a little unwieldly, mainly because it calls for tactical fighting since you can't just button mash. I'm not sure how the game expects me to fight precisely. I keep wanting to use the block command, but it's easy to get caught up in a combo and just get smacked before you have a chance to.
The mini-bosses can be freaking ridiculous. There was a fight where you had to take on two beserkers at the same time, I only managed to win that because I'd concocted a vial of toxin before the fight. Friggin' General Brigan was a pain in the butt to dispatch. The challenge is pretty nice, really, but I keep wondering if the engine is slightly clunky or if I'm just not playing right.
The game rewards good item use. When you get the Painkiller and Health Potions (if you haven't already), they will be your best friends.
Also, when the restaurant and cafe become available, abuse them. =)

Anyway, I'll read. Just keep it going. Maybe 2-3 pages a week will give you an edge in a half a year.
Haha, if I was to actually start a webcomic series or something I'd try to start it off better.
