The Only One Girl { First Quarter }

Ah I love the game so much, I just got it last night and I think I've gotten all the scenarios.. Though I might just be missing one because I think I've gotten everything unlocked but one of the fanarts... I'll figure this out somehow!!

Hi there! Much apologies for not responding sooner, I have not been on this site as often. How many did you unlock? I remember there being one slot too many, so if you only have one more to unlock, you actually got them all--this was a graphical error on my part.

Surprised how little attention this has

Haha well, combining the stats here and the other 2 sites it is on, we've reached more than a thousand downloads and I've gotten some nice feedback over there, as well as the Google Docs survey. Plus I just saw this appear on the front page under "New & Noteable" which made me smile~

I used Yanfly Engine Ace.

It's fantastic. Everything is really clear, and still pretty to look at.

Oh cool, I remember finding it and you can add a bunch of add-ons. It comes in a download, though I am curious...does it give a script you insert or do you put it in your game's folder project?

Also, I have started up Illusions of Loyalty again, I really enjoyed this game.

Illusions of Loyalty

Hey there! I had a question, what battle script did you use for this game? I finally own the full version of VX Ace (as I was bound to the Lite version for awhile) and now that scripts are open, I really like the battle system used in here--very simple, but you can see your characters still.

Interesting choice to use Ace Lite, you're definetely not making things easier for yourself. GL! Is the game near completion anytime soon?

No, it's still in early production. I would prefer to use the full version of Ace, but not until I can afford the physical copy. Until then, it's Lite for me xD

Delusions of Duty

Another Varn game? Going to download it now~

I just got done playing it! Once I began the game, I could not stop 'till I finished to the end. I went down Mercy's Path on difficulty, as I wanted to go through the story (will try other difficulties later).

I got 96% of the clues, I sadly could not find a way to free the headbanging skeleton. But anyway, I liked the combat system--I had regretted not choosing a higher difficulty level, as it definitely was fun. The music chosen was excellent, really giving a feel for the place. The story was deep and creepy, some of the old journals giving me chills down my spine and churning my stomach! I also hated how I had to murder Amelia in order to get down there. It may had been best not to had murdered her at all, since Alice had sealed herself in which even she could not escape.

Oveerall, wow! Wasn't sure if this could beat "Illusions of Loyalty", but man it did! It was also fun to play a main girl character, as many RPGs don't have that. I definitely look forward to more games in The Shackles of Varn! Consider me a fan ^.^

Illusions of Loyalty

Hey there, I just wanted to tell you how much I loved your game! The choice in music, the battles, the characters---I loved it all! The dialogue was well written, the skills were cool, I also loved how the sprites were animated in some areas (like when you see someone working on fixing a gollum, I enjoy little details like that. Making the Move Route just right was probably hectic). I played in the easiest mode, and plan to play it again in harder modes. My only complaint is how short it was, I feel so much more of this world could be explored. Like more about the terrible experiments involving those eyeball creatures, those logs were creepy! But, as you mentioned it being a Lite CookOff I can understand the shortness (I myself am limited to Lite until I can buy the full version). All in all, I really loved the game though and I hope to see more from you! Once I play in harder modes, I plan to post a review for it on my review blog ^.^
