I never had the lag problem, but I've heard about it through a couple players before too. Might have been the way I coded a few things back then which kinda sucks. I'm not updating this game anymore but if maybe I can get a list of the major lag points in the game, I can probably fix that up.

Yes, the game does utilize dynrpg plugins, last time I tried it with EasyRPG a lot of things didn't function, but I'm not sure how much it'll support now

This looks awesome! I've been trying to figure out how to give my character a gun outside of the battle menu and make it usable on the main map, how did you code this?

Thank you very much! Hm, well I can't really explain everything through text as it's hard to do, but making use of key input commands and variables, using the X and Y coordinates for your Hero and events. You can always look at the coding in the engine if you'd like, but hopefully you'd be able to make sense of it XD

Thank you! I'm glad you've been enjoying the game, a lot of time spent developing it certainly goes to the mapping and atmosphere :) yes, every now and then I'm thinking of ways to smoothen up the combat, so hopefully it ends up shaping even better in the final product!

If you downloaded the most recent version of the demo that is offered at the moment, then you shouldn't have to start over again, but you might have to if you have an even older version of the game :)

[RM2K3] Sometimes the fight itself is interrupted

Very rarely, but it happens that the battle itself is interrupted, moreover, there are no messages about either victory or loss, and the health of enemies and heroes has not yet ended. And there is not even a message about the escape of the enemy. In the battle events, I did not make the command to end the battle ... This is a very critical error for my game, because I have some events on the map where you need to know for sure: there was a victory or a loss in the battle. Has anyone encountered the same error? Can I solve it somehow? Does Cherry know about such a bug? I use rpg maker 2003 (steam) Version 1.12a.


I kept encountering a very similar problem with an earlier RPG I made and I found out what was causing it. If you are running any sort of Timer option and that Timer ends by hitting 0, even if you're in battle, it'll boot you right out of it. That was my issue and took me forever to realize it. I hope this helps!

Looks very pretty. The only thing bothering are all the icons on the screen.
I think the icons are fine, I think what they need are like a little box or border around them, similar to how most MMOs and RPGs Uis are.
