Hey, the name's KrimsonKatt and I'm just a random catgirl surfing the interwebs. I am an indie game dev and have been developing games since 2014. I am the creator of the Chronicles of Chronicles Series which features over 50 planned projects made in multiple different media formats. I love playing video games, particularly platformers and RPGs, and my favorite series include Xenoblade, Kingdom Hearts, Hollow Knight, Persona/SMT, Fire Emblem, NieR, Bravely Default, Octopath, Kirby, Zelda, and Castlevania. I also like anime, manga, drawing, writing, comics, animated movies, marvel, music, etc. In other words, I'm a complete nerd. I have many games currently out and in the works. Here is a list of them:

[RMMV] Need Karen Sprite for Mother's Day Project
IDK. I thought everyone knew. I guess your the type of guy who's always living under a rock, huh? Not aware of any trends whatsoever. You know Minecraft? Among Us? The Chris Rock VS Kayne slap? (which was incredibly recent and all over the news) The Johnny Depp VS Amber Heard court meeting? That one was right out of Ace Attorney and it's still going on as we speak! But my guess you don't know what ace attorney is, or anything of what I just mentioned. Since, you know, you're like Patrick Star and live under a rock. (this was all a joke/scarcasm please don't take it seriously)
Anyways I gave you some sources. Maybe you can read up on what a "Karen" is and come back to me with that? Maybe read up on some other memes? Widen your thought. Or you get someone else to help me? I heard Mirak is good at making sprites. I even mentioned him in my original post but since RMN doesn't have an @ feature it's useless unless I PM him myself. I'm sorry, but I think you're in the minority when it comes to not knowing what a karen is. Even my grandma knows and she can barely even turn on her phone!
It's sad that these forums are so devoid of life. It's just you, me, one other guy I can't remember the name of, and a few newbies with like 0 makerscore who post like 1 or 2 things before leaving forever. Everyone's on discord now, and all other alternatives to here I'm banned from.

I'm talking about the meme of Karen. I know Karen is a character from Pokemon. I've played gold and silver. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the meme of those middle aged women, stereotypically blonde, overweight, and with the same short haircut who harass retail workers and random people and cause a massive scene. Them these crazy ladies get recorded and put on the internet for everyone to mock. It's a whole phenomenon. I'm surprised you haven't heard of it. It's super big. So I'm making a game to celebrate mothers day, the plot featuring me and my mom teaming up to beat up a transphobic Karen who's harassing me. Problem is is that to my knowledge no "karen boss sprite" exists on the internet that I can steal use. Can anyone please make a karen boss sprite for me so I can finish my mother's day project? @Mirak, can you please do something with this? Thanks!

Yeah, I realized that a bit too late. Sorry about that lol. Hopefully mine matches up in the end, or Illy changes hers to match up IDK. Luckily I made my part pretty self contained. The only one that carries onto her's is the sun which can be easily edited over.

That's a glitch involving me forgetting to replace one of the old facesets with the new ones. Normally, a text pop up would appear telling you that you need to collect your stuff before you can leave, but since I removed the original facesets from the game's files it tries to load a faceset that isn't there and the game crashes. To fix this, reload your save and open both the chest and collect the item on the counter. That will allow you to progress and avoid the glitched textbox. I'll fix this right away.

[RMMV] Yanfly Equip Skills: Normal Skills Always Equipped?
Good news! I found an alternate plugin by MoogleX for MV that basically fixes all my issues and does exactly what I need it to do. Of course it has some issues like not being able to have abilities take up multiple slots, but that wasn't too important anyways. I realized by watching the Yanfly YouTube tutorial for that plugin that it didn't have any feature to have certain skills ignore the skill equip system and be usable without equipping them as the video showed both arts and abilities being equipped when I just want abilities to be equipped. So yanfly's plugin was a bust but luckily MoogleX's hit the spot and is even compatible with Yanfly so that's another plus. Good to end this day on a good note for once after dying the the elite 4 in Pokemon BDSP 100 times while trying to train up a breeded Ralts with mean look to at least Lv60 so I can finally catch Misprit.

[RMMV] Yanfly Equip Skills: Normal Skills Always Equipped?
author=pianotmMarrendI mean, I sure didn't know the answer. I've never used the Equip Skills plugin. And given what it does, which is pretty specific in RPGs, while it's not the most likely scenario, I think nobody knowing the answer is much more likely than you're giving it credit for.
Maybe nobody has the time to look it up until later? Maybe nobody knows the answer (arguably the worst-case scenario here, but, the outside possibility exists)?
It's really not that specific. 9/10 RPGs I've played had equippable abilities as a major mechanic, especially games with a class system. Bravely Default, Bravely Second, Bravely Default II, Octopath Traveler, Dragon Quest 11, Fire Emblem Awakening, Fire Emblem Fates, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Final Fantasy V, literally every single megaten game, etc. Heck, even Pokemon, the simplest and more formulaic of RPGs, is starting to lean into that direction with Legends Arceus having a move pool and skill slots akin to SMT. (albeit without passives in the mix or the complexity of fusion)
Passive skills slots is not a "specific" mechanic, it's used in almost every RPG ever made in the last 10-15 years. It's either that or a system where you learn skills based on the weapons you equip like Final Fantasy IX, FF7 Remake, Final Fantasy Tactics, FF Tactics Advance, FF Tactics A2, Triangle Strategy, Fire Emblem Echoes, etc or a skill tree like Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy X, Dragon Quest 8, nearly every western RPG, (except Elder Scrolls) etc. I NEED that mechanic for my game to be fun. It's one of the major features added in 2.0 and helps encourage switching up classes frequently instead of relying on the same classes for the entire game like in 1.0.

I'd place my bet on the fact not everyone here uses that plugin. I'd go so far as to raise the bet to "almost nobody here has used it".
Maybe another venue than this forum would be better to find support on specific yanfly plugins, like discord. Maybe Yanfly has a community of sorts like their own discord server? You could try there.
Yanfly has his visustella server but I can't come even near to anything Yanfly related publicly because Yanfly absolutely hates my guts. I can't ask for help anywhere since every single discord Yanfly was a mod in he banned me even if I didn't even post anything. I'm banned from like 3 or 4 different RM discord servers with absolutely no warning. I barely even posted anything on most of them (maybe like 1 intro post at most) and I got banned. I'm not banned from servers not run by Yanfly, but the main thing that all those servers have in common is that Yanfly is a mod on all of them.
The only explanation is that Yanfly has a personal vendetta against me due to me frequenting hating on Visustella and MZ as a whole for it's scummy practices and calling Yanfly out on his bullcrap frequently. On the RPG Maker hub discord (which Yanfly is a mod in) I literally posted NOTHING and yet I was banned about 2 days after joining, probably once Yanfly realized I had joined. I know for a fact that Yanfly knows me personally, as he personally roasted me on the RMN discord (he's not a mod there but he uses it) right before I was muted for the final time and subsequently banned.
I then sought out alternatives since my main source of communication was cut out. I first went to RM Hub as it was, well, a hub for all other RM discords and joined as many as I could. Two days later RM Hub disappeared from my feed along with a couple other servers I don't remember the names of, leaving me a member of only various RM YouTuber's servers (ToastyTime, Driftwood Gaming, etc) and the server for the RPG Maker subreddit.
I went to the subreddit and liked it at first but as soon as I joined general and 18+ chat I realized how toxic the server was outside of the help channels with constant flame wars, trolling, roasts, insults, and general insanity like saying the word "femboy" was a slur and calling me a Nazi because I support rehabilitation for extremists instead of mass geocide and was right wing like 4 years ago. "Once a bigot always a bigot" they said, causing me to rage and leave the server. I might rejoin as there are actually some pretty cool people there outside of the toxicity of general and 18+ chat, but as of now I have nowhere to go. The only RM server I have left with a support section is ToastyTime's server which doesn't have too many users.
TLDR: Yanfly personally hates my guts and banned me from every single server he had influence in, so I can't ask for support in any of Yanfly's servers unless I use my alt account and VPN, but since you now know that Liberty will likely tell Yanfly and he'll be on high alert for suspicious accounts that could be my alt.
