My new game, Generic RPG Quest 3, is about to be released. Right now it is in the process of being accepted.

No. They are all separate adventures and stories that share common themes and elements. Sorta like final fantasy. You do not need to play either of the first two games to enjoy this one, since 1, 2, and 3 are all made by different people and the second one was a joke game so I don't recommend either.

Do I need to have played Generic RPG Quest 1 and 2 first?
Perhaps 3 is a prequel, following the hero Generic and 1 and 2 are about Generic's Descendants.

It seems strange to be making a sequel to a series of games that you don't recommend that we even play. Will it make more sense when we play your game?
If different people made Generic Quest 1 and/or 2, that's certainly an oddity onto itself. Though, using a title like "Generic Quest", doesn't exactly inspire much for potential players. Which is very probably what Craze is getting at. Unless the point of the series is to be a parody of what a "generic RPG" is?
Yes. The point of the games are to mock classic RPG tropes while having fun gameplay, which the other games fail at.

I am offended on a deeply personal level! :P

yeah but what does the game do
That's the beauty of it- it doesn't do anything!
