You're forgetting last year's Review Misao Nominees review event. There should be another review event of that type (ie: focusing on Misao nominations) this year, scheduled in early July.

As to the point of having abandoned games with no ratings, that could be for several reasons. The one I want to cover in detail is, well, okay. I don't know how true it is now, but, at some point, there were users that used reviews as a method to give feedback to the developer more than informing potential players of their opinion of the quality of games. In such cases, an abandoned game would likely be less attractive to such users to review. Why spend the effort to give feedback on a game that's been abandoned?

Yeah…but some people are more motivated to do more things when certain achievos are involved.

Actually, the last pure review event that we had on here was, indeed, the RMN: Review Misao Nominee Event, just like what Marrend said, BUT that happened in 2019 - almost two years ago (hot damn)!

The recent event that we had in February, the RPG Maker 31st Birthday: Release Something Event, was sort of like a review event (because participants in it could submit reviews as well), but…that’s not quite the same thing as an actual review event.

Either way, it's been a really, really long time since we've had one. I'm pretty sure that we'll get one soon in the not-too-distant-future. I mean...come on, you guys gotta eventually give all of the game makers around here a bit of a break from all these constant game-making events! You don't wanna drive them all into the ground, do ya?

@ KrimsonKatt - Also, if all else fails, you could always get this guy to review one of your games. (I heard that he's the best.)

I can do another summer review Jam. I haven't done one in a while!

We have one planned for September, though...

July/November is Misao Reviews.
September is normal Review.
