Pro tip newbies: Learning takes effort
There's a load of new people who got RPG Maker from the Humble Bundle, and they'll all be sadly disappointed when they find out you don't get help handed to you.
Honestly, it's a bitch for me learning the software since I honestly suck at everything. :<
It's easy enough to say read the official RPG Maker tutorial, read guides, etc. I just hope these people don't expect help to be handed to them.
I actually am slowly learning the software, but since I am no coder or programmer it's kinda hard to understand some of it. I have been wanting to make an RPG since I was a kid, and I want to achieve my life long dream sometime.
edit: This isn't any ill will toward RPG Maker itself, or the communities online. I got it for half price during a Steam sale forever ago as a gift.

Making a game that's purposely "bad"(YMMV)
Well, this example isn't an RPG... but I'm saying stuff like Goat Simulator "bad, it's good" The devs purposely didn't remove bugs or anything to make the game 'fun'
This game would be bug free, use decent quality sprites, textures, etc.
The game would ironically be so horrible, it's good. Does this classify as a game that is shit, and would be denied here?

Allow us members to vote for games weekly/monthly/daily(Solved?)
Maybe the devs, playtesters, and such could get some points or something cool added if their game wins.
As for daily: How about a spotlight? Maybe a new game someone hasn't seen?
the users who play the games know more than the admins and mods do..and it ain't like all the staff have the time in the world to playtest or beat these games.
Edit: There's already many ways of nominating games that I did not know existed.
