Toraware no Shoujo -Bluebird of Happiness- Review

Thank you for the review! It makes me extremely happy to know that even an old fan can appreciate the new TnS =)

Yep I totally agree that the graphics for the maps needs and improvement, and I'll work to make a better job for our next RpG Maker game.

I'm very glad that you enjoyed the experience! Hope you'll play our future games too!

Toraware no Shoujo -Bluebird of Happiness- Review

Finally it happened. It's the first time that one of our games is rated (well, the old TnS WAS rated, but mostly for insulting purpuoses, so it doesn't really count, and Suiren received just a review without stars <.<) and this review make me really happy!

Yep, I agree that regards the gameplay, there's not much. As early concept, we wanted to implement the classic research with unlikely puzzles and situations, but we scrapped the idea at the end. Our objective was improving the story, 'cause from the start TnS is not much more than a walking simulator with an atmosphere of uneasiness. We could put a key like, inside a fruit on the kitchen counter or available after playing the piano, but we really can't imagine Jugo doing something like this, he's crazy not idiotic XD

Thanks for linking the code for improving the chase, the chasing part here is minimal so we won't implement it for TnS (I rather like myself to trap him at the couch just to say "haha, f*ck you!")but it'll be indeed useful for future project.

Sorry for the pixel art, I've tried my best but it's pretty difficult it its semplicity :/ I swear I'll work on it.

Thanks for the review and for the grammar corrections, I'll put the upgraded version soon, there's still the notice for further proofreading, but i've added you in the readme =)

And now, I really need to find a way to change my profile name to Uma Tenshi, or else my programmer will be really offended, haha!

Toraware no Shoujo - Caged Girl Review

Well, this is a review that I really appreciated!
No, I'm not masochistic XD But this is exactly what I mean for a full constructive critique.
Yeah, the game is far off from perfection, we treated it with kid gloves just to start experimentation on RpG and check if we could endure a future game with much more work on it. For the future, we're working on a correct translation but we don't think that we'll touch the game itself anymore, it's too much controversial and we're already on next project, so I don't think that we'll waste other energies on it with upgrades and so on.
I agree about the boredom, in the end it's too short and a lot talkative, so the actions are few, this is a problem of mine as the story writer, I'll try to become lesser prolix >.<

For the keys...
we tried to make the game a little more funny to remove the feeling of oppression for a bit, see for example the "burping death", we was inspired by classical games where you find strange things everywhere, but apparently we've failed XD sorry

Thank you again for the review, it's really useful =)

Toraware no Shoujo - Caged Girl Review

author=alterego
I'm sorry, but this is bullcrap. "This is not a game for everyone" is the classic codeword for "I don't want serious, objective critique because my game is perfect, so nyeh!" The fact that is so commonplace with these "horror" games makes me sick, to be honest.
Funny. When developers don't mention what kind of themes/subjects their game touches upon, or what kind of audiences are fit for it, they're accused of trying to hide crucial information (among other things). But when they do, they're accused of trying to avoid criticism.

for me have twice the fun, because this was the first critique I've received on the game, "make a clear advertise on the themes", and now it's not good even like this XDD But well, this is unavoidable, something that's good for one is bad for others and so on.

I truly appreciate the ones that tried to defend the game, but please don't start a war on this review. I agree that it's not an objective review, but it's in any case a review of someone who hated the game, and even bad review have their existence, trying to obliterate them is pointless and won't change the mind of Professor Q. I'm an artist and criticism are everywhere in my industry, you just need to find the useful parts and don't make you to break down =)
BTW, bad publicity is always publicity =P Jokes, with all this I'll make sure to do an amazing game for my next work ^_^

Toraware no Shoujo - Caged Girl Review

Thank you for the review Professor Q, criticism are useful as compliments, of course it would be better something more cheerful ^_^" but as I wrote in the descriprion this is not a game for everyone for it's sensitive arguments, so I was prepared. I sincerely don't know a single one of your quotes O.O" nether the true story of the girl, as I said I was inspired by Chloè no Requiem environment and that's all... free to not believe me, but it's the truth.
BTW I'm not quitting to do games, it's just the beginning (but the end of this kind of games, the next product of my duo would not have raped people XD)
Regards the name: They're all genuine, not a weeboo works XD I have japanese friends that is translating it in Japanese so we wanted to do a game... how can I say? japan-friendly? XD

Now I have to take off a little itch...
For Frogge: For one that targeted the game as disgusting as first comment, you are really active on the posts of Toraware no Shoujo ^_^ It's not the first time, you have a really lot of free time continue to rage as soon as you have the chance, when something sucks I just pretend to ignore it =P You've criticed my english with those screens obviously just to humiliate me? Gooood girl, she critics something that the autor herself explained in the FIRST description because she's not native speaker and have just old school studies, you must be proud of yourself! =D
You are the classical ""shark"" of the net that feel satisfied behind her safe and warm pc screen, well I'm quite bored with people like you so please continue and go on rampage, I'll just start to pretendo to ignore you, barking dogs need to be left alone to romp, peace <3
