I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

A Veritable Retirement Speech

Just know that you don't have to gammak to hang with us. We're here any time you feel like dropping by. Take care! <3

So I'd named my game "Under A Killing Moon" after a song by a band. Googling that phrase today I learned it's already the name of a 1994 Tex Murphy adventure game? Little late in the process for this but I need a new title.

Beneath a Killing Moon?

Maybe substitute Under to something similar?

Flurry of Owls - 2019 Gammak Challenge!

I mean, it's owl game. Game should revolve around owl.

(SOLVED) Help me find this game (about DaVinci)

It was one by corfaisus and others, and made for one of the events iirc.

Release the Dead

Around about nowish. Sorry for the wait! If I've got any wrong, please let me know and remember to tag your games as complete when they are!

Great job, everyone, on an event well-made!

Weird Stealing on RMW

I would have mentioned this earlier but the crew at RMW dealt with it. It seems it was some kind of bot account and they had a few games they'd tried to add up but they were caught quickly. I of course looked here for the user in question but no luck. It's weird that despite having denied threads they still tried to get through. So weird.

If you see any other games by someone else there, report it as such. The mods there aren't as hands-on with knowing games as peeps here are.

[RMVX ACE] Lost in Space Simulator

There is a big difference between a game that has any kind of gameplay at all and a joke game that does nothing.

Equating the three games mentioned with each other is silly.
Pandora is a simulator and an experiment into using an engine to simulate a browser. It is not presented as a game or even a joke but is in actuality someone's school project to see if they could do a thing in the engine.

Being Dead has changes that are affected by your choices over time and several endings. You have choices that actually do things.

Your game consists of hitting a choice to have a line read to you. Nothing changes, there's no reason play. It's obviously just a joke pretending to be a game and doesn't even have an end. At least fake out games like the Winter Sage and such have something to them more than 'here's a funny'.

Sorry, but it doesn't meet the requirements for even being a joke game.

48-owl Gammak thread

Of course! It's basically just normal gammak as usual, but with a few event-based restrictions. Anything goes with regards to resources.
