LIBERTY'S PROFILE
I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

Sorry, hard mode won't happen. I deliberately make sure that every week has a different person and that not one game hogs the spotlight, so... ;p
But it is possible to get on these each fortnight. Luchino's managed to nab a spot a fair few times by making great blogs.

There were a couple that almost made it but I decided to be a bit pickier this fortnight. Also, some of these ones set a pretty high standard, so in comparison...

A case for RPG Maker
Even without scripting you can make great games in RPG Maker. There's a shit ton of them already on the site.

A deluge of letters
Oh, that's all good and fine, but very often that's all people add to their description. I could cite examples but that'd be calling people out and I didn't want to do that too much.
RMN JANUARY 2016 PODCAST
@Toaster: You don't want to kill Nessy, do you? There aren't many 'features' really. I guess we could add a time-stamp for the Dev Corner, since that's something we always do, but if we did ever break it down it'd be something like

:Dev Corner:

...and not actually by subject, which would probably still be not enough for those who want to skip through anyway. But hey, if you want to create a timestamp list, feel free to do so!
And yeah, I'm Australian (there's about 4 accents in Australia that differ from each other - I've the Victorian accent. Most people outside of Australia know the Queenslander accent best.) Nessy is from the Phillipines.
@NeverSilent: We're happy to be back! We really missed shooting the breeze with each other over site stuff and just talking with guests who we usually wouldn't have a chance to. It does take a bit of preparation (which we do last minute because we're professional like that XD ) and no small amount of work editing afterwards (I always slouch away from my microphone, which gives Nessy no amount of headache when it comes to sound levels. SORRY NESSY ;.; ).
@Irog: Glad to hear you enjoyed it and yeah, you hit the nail on the head! When you learn a ton of different skills you can expand your repertoire buuuut it has the negative aspect of having too much to pick from.
