LIBERTY'S PROFILE

I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

Liberty Tests - April - v.01 to v.04

Glad to be of help. ^.^
And yes, that looks a lot better~

If you'd like, I could redo those inner maps for you. Promise I won't go too overboard on the fanciness (and I totes forgot about that pub! >.<; )

Let's Try: Suikoden Another Stories

It may be easy but it's not intuitive. Having to talk to people more than once with no direction to do so - especially when the dialogue gives the player the illusion of it being over and done with - is not a good idea. At least make the NPCs hint towards having to talk to each other again.

Even something like "Oh, Brenda wanted to ask you something" or "Did you hear about such and such? Brenda knows more about it than I do, so ask her." or even "Oh, you should probably talk to 'x' for such and such reason." Hell, even a small tutorial blurb in the control part telling you that you can talk to people more than once and that sometimes it's required to move the game on would be a good idea. Or have the character say something when you go to the door like "I should double check with everyone about where to go next."

Otherwise you're leaving the player floating and confused. Just because you know what to do next doesn't mean your player does and confusing them in the first 5 minutes is not boding well for when they continue playing.

Believe me, I've made the same mistakes in the past and have since learned to be blunt about what you want the player to do within the first half hour. That's when you teach the player how to play your game, how systems work and what they can and cannot do in your world.

Liberty Chills: Not so Fluffy and Warm

Gah! Sorry about that. Must have copied the wrong link. >.<;

As for the mp3, yeah. It's a pity because that bugger was persistently chasing me around at one point and I thought I'd lost him... but hadn't. Granted, I was half-dead due to heat that day, so my mind wasn't quite working or I'd have checked that the footage was being taped before, well, taping. :/

Liberty Chills: Death to the Czarina~

XD
I look forward to it, then~

Liberty Chills: Death to the Czarina~

I've got it, just have to unzip and copy over the save. ^.^

Liberty Plays the Hell out of: Dark Meaningful Name

I didn't find Fur Tank! ;.;
Seems I can't remember where it was. Also, an event broke on me, I think. You'll see.

Liberty Plays the Hell out of: Dark Meaningful Name

Oh, don't worry. I seem to have hit my barrier. Not looking forward to the bitches, either - they were blockades last time I played. May be time to edit my party somewhat.

Liberty Plays the Hell out of: Dark Meaningful Name

Heh, but did you see what I did to that boss, Indry? Another one-shot, guuuurl~

Liberty Plays the Hell out of: Dark Meaningful Name

OMG! I swear to God I typed Dead, not Dark in the title. I fucking swear it! I remember because I kept wondering whether I should keep up the joke or not but decided not to! Gah! >.<;

:Secret Santa Liberty Plays: Calling it - Death Incoming~

Right-o about the mic. Just gotta save for it - I know exactly the one I'd like but it's a bit costly. XD

Well, it's finished and it was decent but there's a lot that could be improved on, though I have to admit you've already improved a lot from your first game. Congrats on that and here's to future games!
