Changed the bullethell minigame from a space setting to a fantasy seting and added time manipulation abilities.

Some graphics are still placeholders.

I am remaking one of my older projects in Godot. Just finished some of the unit control and movement.

I won't make a gamepage, since there was some controversy regarding the originals story and the parody of some real rightwing/religious people. Nevertheless this video is just showing game mechanics and I might adapt the system later on for a fantasy project that doesn't have the aforementioned problems.

@Punkitt A pond tileset? Looks good and that's is a pretty unique setting. Is that for a new game you are working on that doesn't have a gamepage yet?

I sepend the last couple of weeks with Godot and with Unity before that. Godot won, though I am mainly implementing small things and waiting for version 4, which should come with an improved tile system.
Wanted to start watching Kakushigoto yesterday, but didn't get beyond the opening, since I wanted to implement a similar "change of seasons" effect for my title scene.

I think it came out well, but I don't want to put it as an update on my gamepage. Feels like it's been forever since I last posted a main project video in this thread.
Should I maybe reduce the time their eyes are closed while blinking?

Well, that sucks, but 7 years without a backup?

I lost a project once, but that was in an age before cloud services and cheap usb sticks.
Nowadays I save every 0.5-2 hours to cloud and about once a week to usb.
(usb the whole project, cloud usually just the data or js folders with the changes)

ellenor: Nice, I like the style, is it all custom art?
Darken: It's hard to make out some of the details, but it is definetly a unique art direction.

Feels like I haven't posted here for ages, been working on improving the usability of my windows, to be used in the battle system. But the later isn't ready for prime time yet.
