Okay, I've managed to complete the game. I copy and pasted my save files into an older version of the game and was able to see the ending. It did go dark during the credits but came back a little after the sound of waves started playing.
I really liked the game though. I will say that you may want to organize the game folder, like put the Map files in their own folders and maybe make a folder for the save files.

Hello! I've managed to take out the knight, I actually did it a few weeks ago but didn't get the time to reply. I've also sorta beat the game, however I have run into some issues. It took me some time to defeat the dragon and the final boss. When battling both more then a few times the screen goes black, the game is still running but I can't see what's going on. It's even happened during battles. I just finally defeated the boss today but the screen went dark after the small dialogue. So all I ended up hearing was a kissing sound effect. Is there anyway to get past the dark screen issue?

Love the game so far. I am having trouble with the knight, I assume you are suppose to sweep the dirt at him to defeat him? But I keep failing too do so, he's a hard enemy. I do wish there were a checkpoint before him.

I suppose I'll leave a brief review, despite the problems (or rather small bugs) that occurred during the game I did enjoy playing it. The story was interesting as well as the characters and I like having multiple endings as well as being to skip to different points in the game to easily receive the other endings. If I did have one thing I didn't like about the game, it would probably be the endings. Not how they ended but they feel a tad rushed. But that's my personal opinion and this is the first time I think I've ever left a review for a game. Over all I'd give it a 3.5/5.

Hi again, I was working on getting the secret ending after finishing the happy ending and after speaking to Mani I went to the dining assuming I had to go there to speak with Chantico (I assume that is what I am suppose to do), however nothing happened and I explored everything to see if I missed something to activate the event but came up empty. Eventually I was able to move on and just go into the password protected room to continue with the game. During my search to activate that event I was able to enter Eri's room and a scene from I think the first act ran (when Eri says she can't kill Chantico).

I did see a mention of jars when examining the area with the wine bottles (I'd assume that's what they are) but nothing about an empty one.author=Lily101Got it, there's a switch that shouldn't be on in your game progress. And during earlier play I followed the walkthrough to try and get the empty jar by reading the letter and the book and looked at everything in the kitchen bu didn't receive one and prior to this message I went and moved the save file to different versions of the game, one from when I first downloaded the game, the 08 version and the 12th version as well as downloading it today but that problem seems to persist.
As for the jar, it's not there, you should check the other cupboards! ;)

Unfortunately I've run into another problem, I've completed the orphanage and am trying to return to the mansion (which if I recall correctly is the path next to the bridge). However neither that nor any other paths let me leave and the other paths tell me I need to go to the orphanage (except the one leading to the mansion which is missing the English translation). Also looking through the walkthrough I recalled another potential problem, during the first half of the fifth act the guide instructs to get an empty jar for a secret ending in the kitchen, however I tried looking at everything in the kitchen and was unable to obtain it.
As for the jar, you can collect it only if you read the letter and then read the botanic book
I believe the happy ending and I recall having already read the letter prior to talking to the mom and reading the book when I was exploring during the start of the fifth act. Though for the ending I could be heading towards the secret ending since I explored the password protected room at the orphanage.
