Edit: Also I'm curious as to how you've pulled the gradient off. It looks great. I tried something very very similar for a game a while back but my results didn't look anywhere near as good as yours.
Edit 2: Minor nitpick, but it looks a little weird how the leftmost door at the top doesn't have a wall next to it.
Pretty simple actually! It's just a 1280x720 picture with a blending mode (multiply) applied to it. It might not be the best way of doing things, but hey, it works and it looks great.

Yup, you're definitely right. Since I've posted this I've redone the trees; it'll take a little while to redo the completed areas but it was definitely worth it. Thanks mate!

Nice! The soft blues and purples look really nice with the black and white. Does the turn order present utilize SMT's press turn for gaining and losing turns too or is it more like FFX where you can push turns back or rearrange turns based on the given command?

Haha nah, she's her own character - just her name is a reference to him. There's a lot of psychology-based stuff in the game so a few references like that are scattered around. Good catch!
