Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate Review

Thank you for the review Corfaisus
I very much appreciate how detailed you went into the different parts of the games namely the graphics/mapping and gameplay. I think one of my best skills in RPG maker is the mapping - it's something I love doing, so it's a wonderful feeling to know that I can be appreciated on that.
I'm glad that you also commented on the characters - it's actually a section I pride myself in knowing I came up with some of those character designs, although through other peoples' eyes the sadistic humor (an almost unused, yet beautiful concept IMO, don't judge) makes the overall experience quite off putting for some. One of my personal favorite characters was Cindy and it's always been a wonder to write scenes involving her, yet I do agree that umm... character development isn't really fleshed out as it could be.
Anyways, for the music and sounds, I really really regret using VGM soundtracks. It was a time when hardly any suitable BGM music from composers existed, so I just used those ones. For The Rebellion, I will be using hardly any.
Thank you once again!

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate Review

Thank you so much for the wonderful review!
In all honesty, I wanted to add a final boss, but I couldn't see how It'd fit in. The split between Serathium and The Isle seemed like the most convenient place to make the split. So, technically, there is a duo final boss... I guess? :P
But oh wells, that's certainly not happening with the sequel and I'm really pleased I can work with the brilliant comments and feedback made here.
I really appreciate it! :)

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate Review

Thank you Xemeth for the great review!
I'm thankful that I split the game between Orbs of Fate and The Rebellion, purely because I now have amazing feedback from reviews such as this one: I can make the changes to make the gameplay experience better in TR.
It was one of my missions to make the game work as both a comedy and RPG to not only make the player look forward to what's next in the storyline, but also more comedic elements integrated within them - I guess, this didn't work out as planned where the storyline may seem to be completely shadowed over. I'm probably going to up the seriousness and focus a huge lot on the storyline in TR now, while not completely ditching the comedy.
And combat; admittedly, that was one of my weak points. There are a few good grinding locations, which if used, makes the future bosses quite easy or hard if not used. I'm going to work harder on this~
Again, thank you for the review!

You Are Not The Hero! Review

Okay, I will when I have time.
It's my first review and probably last haha.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate Review

This review is now outdated (as it was for the demo and not the full game).
However, I can say it was very useful for me. I took almost everything into account since the demo.
*Side Quests Added
*Journal in place of quest option detailing the main quest
*Battles made slightly more challenging

And from other people
*I added the option to skip the introduction scene

It would be nice if the OP could put a little message at the top of the review saying it's for the old demo and not the full game.
Thank you!

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate Review

Thank you Obsorber! It's kind of embarrassing having the Old Falk image pop up. There just happened to be so much to change so I forgot about those little tidbits... Anyway, it's fixed now and that meat should never appear for the rest of eternity.
My original intention for the battles in the beginning of the game was to make it easy and fast so that NO ONE would die immediately and want to quit the game, but I suppose it it'll be okay to add some poisonous attack on that blue slime (again) - It already originally had it.
In terms of Gameplay, I'll definitely take your advice to lower the annoying encounter rate. The full game is 20 hours long (the demo is only 3), so the battles slowly, but gradually get harder and harder...
Watch this example of a battle (Not available in demo)

You said that the game focuses mainly on battles, but trust me... Later, the puzzles, the quests, the npcs, the story will all collide into one and become epic with the introduction of each gadget. These things make the GAMEPLAY become so much bettter. In the demo, you get the X-Ray Specs, but I think you don't get to use it that much. Also, did you see that puzzle in Mt. Lemele. Did you get that far? In addition to that, adding side quests in the beginning of the game was impossible as you won't be able to return so soon as you leave the village, especially with the party splitting system. But you say it as if there aren't any side quests in the whole game - Well, there are. (just not in the demo/ beginning) This game is already huge as it is, soon you'll discover Special Scenes, Minigames, Star Rank quests, Optinal dungeons, portal station and MORE

So I hope you'll be able to write another review for the full game to see how it has changed, but I'll definitely take your feedback on board with what I can.

Thank you
