Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

@Linkis
The 2 Purple Keys are used to unlock the one door in the the area with the Healing Light - Sorry, I hadn't realised that, that may be a little misleading :(
You won't need to use the Throwing Star to unlock the gate at this point in the game, so don't worry about that area for now!
I don't mind about the questions, you can ask as much as you'd like :)

@Shinryu101

I'm glad you're enjoying it! Writing the cutscenes was very fun - which is why there are so many (sometimes, too many - oops).
That would be a great idea too - I know what to put in the sequel now~

It's through the small gap inbetween the Academy and the Cafe! You can't miss it!

@Linkis
Oh, the switches won't need to be activated this early on. You need the Throwing Star in order to activate them. You need to use the X-Ray Specs and collect the Blue Key at the end of that path to unlock the gate at the far left.
In order to open the door in the Armor Shop, you need to progress on one of the side quests that the Coke Lady gives you at some point. It's optional though!

I Hope that helps :)

Let's Play, Lunar Wish IX-end

Again, I thank you for your incredible videos! They were very entertaining and also your feedback was extremely useful.
The game full game was originally intended to be one full 30 hour experience, but with the announcement of the Release Something Weekend, I really didn't want to wait around - I just wanted to release something! So that's when the split was made, so in the month prior to May 4th, I spent all my time testing, fixing and making the split for Lunar Wish. (It had already been completed and I'm actually well into development in The Rebellion). With that said, it won't take another 5 years to develop haha! That is the reason for there no Final Boss, although one can consider there to be 2 final bosses - they just don't happen to be directly before the credits :P
The split also explains the abrupt ending which pains me, but there was no work around for it.
If the RSW weren't announced, I probably wouldn't have split the game, but in hindsight, I'm glad I have as it's given me the opportunity to make the second part so much better than it probably would originally come out as thanks to yours and others feedback! For example, I'm definitely working on the character development. I also realised that Orbs of Fate doesn't really involve much of the story, but it works by leaving the player wondering. Why are there all these random scenes to do the orb? Why did Loki join the Academy? Why did the orb thief do what she had done? Who is Logan? Who is Tag? Who is Master Pow? etc, etc... The Rebellion will answer all those questions and also be rich in storyline.
Also, in Orbs of Fate, it is possible to complete the Skill Trees - In The Rebellion, everyone will be given an extra skill tree! It will also have the option to start a new game at recommended levels. I will definitely learn from my mistakes and promise not to get lazy on dungeons! I know the TanBurn Passage was really short (but planned to be much longer), so I shall make all the dungeons longer! I'm glad you liked the gadgets too - They're also one of my favourite features and there'll be sure to be more of them!
lastly, I have to say that I'm flattered about the 4 - 4.5 score :)
Thank you so much for playing and the videos!
(Whoa, that was long)

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

Nope, that's the only one you can miss forever.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

Hmm, it shouldn't be needed at that point.
Have you seen the lecture scene at the Blue Orb Academy yet?

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

@Luthan
That's okay! The Rebellion will have the option for you to start a new game and will set you to the recommended levels! :)

@Linkis
It depends what point in the storyline you're at, but I think you either
a) have to visit the inn
b) Go to the Blue Orb Academy

Hope that helps!

Is there an easy way to kill
Loki? Seems like a hard battle again. 4 other guys with lots of HP and she is using heal on everyone. What's the recommended easy strategy to beat her?

Here are a few tips:
Gearing up on Water, Thunder resistance armor is good to block the moves such as Rain Drop. As Kaze pointed out, Kestrel's fire branch is quite good as inflicting burn weakens the dummies.
In earlier versions, Tash will cause no damage at all, so moves like Stardust Cross are useless, however her moves like control arrow are quite good - use them on dummies so that they can become confused. Make sure to aim all your attacks on Loki as killing her will kill the other dummies. (You can't kill the dummies alone).
Remember to make use of Fate's double item healing effect. Before going in battle, if you have fairy circle, I do believe you can use that move. If not, Falk's team cannon may be of some use.
Falk can potentially cause massive damage - Using earth strike at level 4+ can quickly take down Loki.
Good luck!

RMN v4.5 (and beyond) Feature Idea List

That would be pretty awesome.
It could be like playing the wikipedia game by clicking from link to link to get to a particular page, but in this instance hopping from game page to game page.
I love the idea of more games being one click away and can see it being very successful.
