What is your biggest question in life?

author=Gourd_Clae
My question is always:

Why me? Why do all the bad things seem to happen to me? Of course, worse things have happened to other people, and I've never had anything particularly horrible happen to me by chance, but whenever something goes wrong and I'm in the moment of the accident those 2 words always pop up in my mind.

The answer to "Why me?" is because the Event is a pack hunter. Sure, you might be able to see the one in front of you, but it's the ones that are creeping up just outside your periphery vision that are the dangerous ones!

Changing Actors based on level [RPGmaker VX ace]

I'm making/made a game that uses a common event that restores HP and MP after every battle. I use on-screen encounters to make it work, and those encounters are, themselves, common events. If a similar technique is used, it should be possible to switch party members after a battle, should they reach a certain level. I can't promise that the party member would retain the same party position, however.

Is this going to be used as a portrait, or something? I think it could be, but if not, it's still a decent piece of concept art.

If you want me to look at the story where Masako shows up, even if it is only to give advise on how she should talk, I can do that. One piece of advise I can give right now is that Masako knows what people are thinking. Sometimes even before they think it!

Japan: Jubei's Vengeance

The best way to test my theory would be for me to start from scratch. If I still get that error, I would still have a few notes I could share, if you're interested.

Japan: Jubei's Vengeance

Hrm. The game is crashing on me. Right after sleeping in the Sasaki house, I get back into town, try and save, and get this message:

RGSS2 Player has stopped working.

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program, and notify you if a solution is available.

I suspect that my save file from version 0.8 that I transferred into the game might be causing this, but I would like a second opinion.

*Edit: Actually, to be honest, it was giving me this error when I tried saving in the Sasaki household. My suspicion is still on my save file, rather than this being a bug. However, if someone else is getting this, then I would be slightly more inclined to think that it's a bug.

If Masako has a cameo appearance in Seira's story, I sincerely doubt she would go along with the badger story. Heck, she would probably suspect the truth, and confront the player about why he is willing to take the abuse. I'm seeing it kind of like this:

STORY X
CONDITION = 2 DONE OR 4 DONE
PLACE = Sick Room
ID = 10
SHOW CENTER
Greetings. Oh, you are injured.
UNFRIENDLY
This injury... this is not the first time this has happened, has it?
NEUTRAL
What has transpired that caused such an injury?
ID = 0
Another blasted badger attack!
ID = 10
A badger attack, you say?
UNFRIENDLY
Those marks you bear seem too precise to be made by an animal. They seem more like wounds made with a blade, or other sharp object.
NEUTRAL
I also have my suspicions about who, or what, could have caused those wounds. The question I pose to you is this. Why do you allow it? You need not answer this question now, but it is an important one.
ERASE CENTER
ID = 0
(That's does seem like a good question! Do I let Seira do what she wants because she's just too fast for me, or is it because I like it when she does that?)

That's just how I imagine the scene working. You can use that if you wish. Or, you can customize that more to your own style of writing.

I would highly recommend finishing a character, triad. Because, sometimes, completing a task is a task onto itself.
