STATUS

Ultimately, it's the story of a man that lives with regret. This is a person who considered himself outside of society. An observer, making commentary to the Gods about how foolish Men are. However, on the day he graduated from the Yokoki School of Magic, he learned of something that seemed utterly inconceivable to him: the observer was observed! Rather than confronting the offender, he started to think that, maybe, just maybe, he was the fool after all.

Ultimately, he did nothing about the "offender", or himself. Which is what he continuously tortures himself over for years on end. Eventually, he seeks the Oracle of Askigaga as a kind of repentance, not knowing what she would ask of him.
