MIRAGE88'S PROFILE

I've enjoyed playing games since childhood, rpg's being my favorite.
I love coming up with new stories and rpg maker has helped me bring some of those stories to life.

I have various side projects going but my main project is based of a D&D campaign my Fiance ran a few years ago. I enjoyed the campaign immensely and I hope people enjoy my retelling of it.
My biggest weakness is that while I am quite good at thinking up stories I'm not very good at writing them. Personally I think my writing comes of as awkward at times, but it's something I hope to improve.

Now for my personal info. I am a mother of one, engaged to a lovely man and currently own a puppy, a cat and two rabbits (on of which is half giant rabbit) yeah.... so I live in a bit of a madhouse.
Apart from gaming I enjoy baking, especially cakes :p.

Eternal Twilight

I think the thing I'm enjoying most about this game, is the battle system. You've clearly put a lot of thought into the skills, rather then just 'This attack deals X amount of damage'.

Eternal Twilight

Well so far I'm really enjoying this game. You've really put in a lot of thought to the skills. Nice to see a bit of strategy instead of just spam attack till their dead. (And the boss theme is pretty epic) Personally though I'm not a huge fan of auto save, unless there's a few save files available.

I don't know if you are ok with them being used by others as long as credit is given, or if you don't want them to be used at all, so you may want to make that known too. I mean Enelysion was unencrypted and you made no secret of the fact you didn't have an issue with anyone seeing what was in it. Some may have read that as you had no problem with people using what was in there for their own projects, too.

That and the fact I've seen your tilesets on some resource sites, so I'll admit I thought you were ok with others using them. Maybe encrypting is your best bet, won't stop everyone but it should hopefully stop most.

Well onto the demo. Love the new graphics and excellent choice of music as always.
Battles were hard without being impossible. (I really don't like it when battles are super easy :/ )

Only thing I noticed was at Avegin castle the archway didn't quite line up. Like so.

Also sometimes the text scrolled a bit too fast and I didn't have time to read it.

But so far it's impressive. Can't wait for the full version.

Placeholder art. Can you guess what he is saying?

Something in Simmish? :p

Poor Dante doesn't get enough love. (I actually quite liked him!)

Based on screenshots I like the consistent presence of lightning effects, and the mapping and dialogue look equally promising. This game's looking like a good back-to-the-roots RPG in the making amidst this recent sea of various adventure horror games (nothing wrong with those, just saying)...

Keep it up and GL, hope to see a playable version when it's its time.

I know what you mean about the horror games, I've played some good ones so not complaining, but I do prefer traditional fantasy adventure games.

Starting to concentrate on my story now in the hopes of getting a playable demo out in the near future. Dialogue and story flow will be the toughest, I'm good at thinking up ideas but actually writing them out, not so much.

But I guess that's the advantage of demos, you get some critique on the areas that need improving, and so far people have been really helpful on the RPG forums. :)

Return of the Lost

Nothing more annoying then when all the main characters are teenagers. Having one or two adults around just adds a bit more maturity to the party.
