After trying to pick the item up a few dozen times and walking around the tower for a few minutes trying to grind and think, all I can say is that it was pretty clever. Did take me a while to figure out where the reward was though.

Now all that's left for Level 4 are the Jokers.

In a previous post you mentioned something about one being in Inner Core 2 and another in No Man's Land, however I've searched through those areas already and can't find either. Are there any landmarks that you can tell me about their locations in those areas?

Alter A.I.L.A. Genesis

Seems like now the only thing I have to do to get past Level 4 is to find the last shard in Oberon Tower and find the missing Jokers. So what happened to ARP's shard in Oberon tower?

Since I did reset my optional areas and have to fight all the Shadows again, I thought that I might as well record who is where in case someone wants to get a specific character's sync first. Here's the list for the main party members:

Manor - Indy
No Man's Land 3 - Gray
Slums - Jake
Jackal Labs - Scott
Outer Perimeter 2 - Leon/Galde
Inner Core Shaft 1 - Celia
Rebel Base ( Central ) - Hawk
Underwater Facility - Violet
Dam Facility - Erin

Thanks for the clarification, and yeah I'm pretty much set on killing the Behemoth at full power, since I did ask about it, collected some data data on it, and am already preparing, might as well. Not sure if I will be able to record it though, since it may be kind of long due to how much HP the thing has.

Original reason of why I was curious was because the game didn't give me an instant Game Over when I was discovered and it went into a battle where I wasn't hit for maximum damage at the very start as well, so I thought that killing it then and there would've given something extra.

But, I have ran into a problem, having trouble finding the Tinderbot MKIII the third time. Tried both the Dam Facility and the Jackal labs, but so far I can't find it. Do I have to search harder in those areas or go deeper?
I had a total facepalm moment on that one as well...

Check the Rebel Base Harbor, where you snagged the boats earlier in the game.

...

Never would've figured that out on myself, on the map it doesn't even seem to be as near to the shore as some of the others, thanks.

Also, does anyone remember how to get to the Shadow fight in the Dam Facility? This area and the other maze-like areas are starting to make me regret resetting optional areas.

Thanks, only 24 more levels to go, guess I better get started on it again.
Wow, I hope you have a savegame before all of this, b/c at this rate, the last couple of postgame bosses will be a cakewalk.

Hmm, okay. If you actually pull this off, let me know, and I'll tell you something interesting :).

...

Wait, are you saying that we don't have to beat the full-powered Behemoth to get to the final boss? Thought I heard that there was a shard that we can only get if we beat the full-powered version. It's basically the only reason I'm doing this.

In my first endgame save, my main party's average level is about 54-55, not sure if that's still too high.

Well, that's interesting to know about the Behemoth. I might have an equipment setup that let's me survive him now, I just need a ton of Stimulant C's, Speed Boosters, and Toxication Fields along with the correct Reinforce for Erin. I've gotten her speed up to 32 with the help of the Al Di La, which seems to really help out. I couldn't see the speed crush effect for the ex boost from the gear I was wearing. That definitely explains a lot.

As for the Shard Finder, it seems to be called the Signal Ring. I believe that the reward for tracking the Tinderbot Mk3, but don't remember for certain. After doing a search, it does seem that I'm missing shards from at least three areas still. Oh well...

I figured out why I don't have the last character. Apparently I DID miss one Joker by virtue of having bought the ability, and not saved somehow. Funny thing is I can't afford it now. So once I get it, that SHOULD be it. Thanks for that tip Neok, I'd have not double checked if you hadn't said that.

Well, all the items that can be bought shouldn't take too long to collect, a small amount of credit farming should be able to get all the items you've listed. The problem is finding some of the more rare stuff ( Stimulant C fields and Stimulant D fields ) quickly and in large quantities, which would make the fight a lot easier.

Still kind of stuck on the Jokers, just can't find the 1-3 Aurora shards needed, and I've pretty much searched high and low for them.

Ok, I've been searching for a shard that the Signal Ring says exists on the Ground Floors of Oberon Tower. But I can't find it at all. I've been in every room I can find, but it's not in any of them. I mean, this place isn't exactly a maze or anything, so I'm 99% sure I've combed the area adequately. Is it possible for the GPS to not be indicating an exit inside the area to me? Or perhaps the Signal Ring is just broken as far as the tower is concerned?

The only thing left here is the SNEWS article.

I wouldn't be that surprised if that's the case with the G.P.S., since we know it doesn't work in some places ( most notably, Orbital Prison 3 )

On that note, for Erin's HP growth curve, is it possible for her to reach 6k+ HP before the level cap?

Yes! She reaches 6k at...

...lvl 89.

X-Destruction also seems to remove all of your positive buffs, like what De-Material does. I personally don't use buffs all that much, but for the times I did it seems like the moment I get hit with X-Destruction it's gone.

That's just a coincidence. It shouldn't be de-buffing (though it does cause spd crush).

...

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I only tried using Spd Booster, since I find it to be the essential buff for defeating the full-powered Behemoth without massive level grinding.

I'm surprised you're even able to get all those skills, ARP. I'm basically stuck where I am due to the fact that I don't have any more Aurora shards to spend on multiple characters' skills. If you can remember some of places where you found them in the locations I listed above, it would help me a lot.
I remember getting several shards from the G-Quiz. I got super lucky and found him twice while running around looking for Jokers & various other pieces of gear. I was able to finish the quiz in two go's, despite there being one accidental(or not?) question from the original Alter A.I.L.A. thrown into the hundred (how the heck am I supposed to remember the stimulant colors from a game I played a few years ago??). I'm still not entirely sure I've gotten all of the shards. I can say that if you skip Behemoth to fight him at full strength later, you won't get all the shards. You MUST pass over the laser to get one of them. Getting the shard at Below Stynx 2 was somewhat annoying and basically trial and error. There was a shard hidden in the Jackal Labs I totally missed until I randomly happened onto it in the post-game. I believe there was a hidden path in the main control room that leads to it. Oh, and I also forgot that there was one in the sewers that I missed my first time through. There was a dry waterway you could enter and get a shard. GPS basically made my day when it came to finding everything. It also helps that I'm a somewhat compulsive explorer when I find new areas for the first time. Honestly, the fact I've had to make at least one trip back to each area searching for Jokers after I got the GPS is the only reason I've found all of what I have. Over half of my shards can be accounted for from my Joker man-hunt and the G-Quiz. I still feel like I'm missing a single shard or two, though. I hope I have them all. It helps that I also have that shard radar that pings when I enter a zone that still has a shard. Though that was a very recent pickup.

To be quite honest, I've done pretty much everything you've listed here. Maybe I'm just lazy and didn't bother finding the Jokers that don't require Aurora Shards, but according to you I should pretty much have enough to get all except one. This "shard radar" seems new to me, mind giving a hint as to where the location of this item is?

Now I'm glad I actually have a save right before fighting the Behemoth, although still comes the problem of defeating the damn monster in hard mode.

Jake isnt that bad...
...
I will second Hawk as being a bit underwhelming by the end of the game. Save for his amazing HP growth, his EX isn't terribly impressive when he has a normal move that's almost as good. Considering that both require activation or his uber weapon to be equipped, it helps him even less.
I have to say that Dread is about average, but his uber-weapon has some very interesting potential with his Ravage skill. I wonder how well it would perform with a Zero-System? Dread might be a good candidate for fighting the Behemoth at full strength. It's weak to fire, and he has a good HP growth...
...

Have you tried giving him the Justice and Zero System syncs along with the Chaos Mode? I found that his damage isn't all that bad considering he can cast Orbital Assault every turn after the first. His high HP growth also helps with making the -20% HP/Rnd less of an hindrance outside of random encounters.

For the full-powered Behemoth, I think the only way to go is to use characters that have some speed and +6k HP in order to survive a full non-guarded X-Destruction. Not sure about the other characters, but due to Hawk having about 5931 HP at level 62, it shouldn't take Hawk or Dread more than like level 65 to achieve it. Would help if there is another character that can get 6k+ HP without massive grinding, but I don't see one yet.
