[RM2K3] Question about selling an RM2K3 game with .exe hacks

I've read that you cannot legally sell RM2K3 games if you've hacked the RPG.exe file. To what extent does that cover? For example, I'm working on 2 major games with RM2K3 currently, and one of them I'd like to eventually make it available commercially (it will be quite a hefty game). However, I've changed the glyphs in the game to what you see below...

I would probably change all of the glyphs eventually, just so I can make the game that much more original. This is the only "hack" I've implemented and will most likely be the only one, considering.

But, with these changes in the glyphs, does that make the game ineligible for commercial sale? I hope not, as these glyphs have become integral to the games messages and menu management. Also, are there any other hack-like changes that bar RM2K3 game's from a commercial sale? I understand much of the hacks that Cherry has made are included. Just curious if I should go ahead and revert these glyphs back to normal if I plan on selling my game.

Also, is the official English version of RM2k3 still being updated and patched? If so, I would love to suggest edits and upgrades somewhere if I can (like the ability to change glyphs without hacking lol).

those iron grates holding the thing up look completely off because they probably should be the same size when the path moves upwards. Here's what I mean;

I like this concept a lot though.

I see what you're saying, Frogge. The map this screenshot is from is much larger than what you see here and I think that's the only spot where the scaffolding path changes like that and touches the ground, so it may look off.

Are you still working on this after all these years?
Damn. You are tenacious as hell :D

Yeah, when it comes to RPG Maker I already have a handful of projects I have put enough passion into that there's no sense in starting something new. I genuinely enjoy this project enough to want to see it actually finished, despite some of the negativity it received. Plus, time away from it has allowed me to see it's flaws and how to improve it furthermore.

I'm pretty sure it's frontier's extreme but just to clarify Mitsuhide, is this it?:

Yup! This is it! I know just from the first few screens and the "Sucmo" intro. lol.

SO HAPPY I GET TO PLAY THIS AGAIN!

I think this is frontiers extreme, This is what stood out to me as well but I'll have to double check. If anyone knows what this game is for sure, let us know.

I wanna say that sounds right. I remember the game having a "generic, cool RPG title".

I am not sure if this game has already been posted or requested here because I can't remember the name of it, but I've been searching for the past few days and can't find it.

- It was an RPG Maker 2000 game, I believe.
- It had lots of humor.
- The Final Fantasy 1 black mage was a foul-mouthed shopkeeper.
- You eventually went to the "real world" and fought Fred Phelps.

Please, if anyone knows what this game is, please point me in the right direction! I've been wanting to play this game again recently!

Should maybe move those monsters up a bit? That orange line on the bottom doesn't look too appealing either.

The more I look at this the more I agree. I will be editing this battle backdrop eventually.

When X levels up, the player can select 1 of 4 Upgrade Chips to enhance his abilities. Check out the "Gameplay Features" page to learn more.

RPG Maker 2003

Does anyone know if the engine will be continuously updated? Also, if so, is there anywhere we can voice our requested features or fixes?
