Ideas for a Limit Break type skill

I need some ideas for a limit break for a character in my game. They activate much like Final Fantasy VIII's so they become available when HP is low (When below 10%, when above this, they cease to be available).

I've only got one character left to go. He's just your normal Joe Blogs, everybody else has some kind of speciality. Here are the ones I already have.

- Attack goes up by x3 for as long as the hit points remain below 10%
- Absorb Attribute (Works just like "Devour" in Final Fantasy VIII) Attributes will get more of a boost from stronger monsters.
- Boosts accuracy of character's special moves. The rest of the time it is rare for them to connect.
- A lot like Irvine's "Shot" limit break. Uses special ammo.
- Master Thief (Makes the chances of stealing an item at a 100%)
- Makes potions and healing items target all of the party (Like Amarant's "Elan" in FF IX)

How do I upload my project?

I've already made my game profile but I haven't been given the option to upload yet.

I'm sorry if I'm missing something obvious here. It's the first time I've done this.

How do I compress my game for submission? RMVX ACE

Should I just do it through File -> Compress Game Data?

Or should I do it by some other method?

If it should affect my choice, I've got a version of the credits at the end of the game, but I also have them in notepad in the project folder.

Smooth transition of music (If possible) RMVX ACE

I didn't know whether if this fitted under game design or to put it in here.

I've got maps which have different music playing depending on the scene.

Is there a way to avoid having that half second bit of music before it changes to what I set it to? (In the event, it's the command "play bgm")

Roman Galley & Merchant Ship characters? RMVX ACE

Hi there

Does anyone know where I can find some character graphics of a Roman style Galley and Merchant ship?

I've done some myself but I think there might be something better out there. I'd like it if it could somehow fit with the RTP style. Here's a screenshot of a harbour (in the game) with both the styles of ship in there. The merchant ship is on the left and the galley is on the right.

Transferring Hero back to where they were after a cut scene. RMVX ACE

I've asked for help about this before but things have changed.

I originally was told how to use the "transfer player" using a variable to get the x/y positions on a map. However, now there are lots of npcs in the game who move randomly so there's a chance that the player could be warped back and be unable to move due to being on the starting position of an npc.

I'm now thinking of changing this with a variable for a different number for each map in the game, and the player being transferred to a location on that map. It isn't perfect but at least they'll be close enough to where they were without screwing anything up, movement wise, with other npcs.

I just thought I'd ask for some opinions on this before I go ahead with this idea.

Will a custom game over screen for one game affect all games? RMVX ACE

I've made a custom game over screen for my game. I was just wondering if this screen is now going to appear on every rpg maker project I make?

If it does, how can I make it not affect them?

I read that you have to put it under the series of folders which go under Program Files, not the ones which appear in My Documents.

How to make a fence who will only buy stolen items? RMVX ACE

Could someone show me how to make a fence who'll only buy stolen items? I expect this will have something to do with a variable connected with the numbers for each item, but I don't know how I'd go about doing this.

Here's a shot of item tab on the database so you can get the idea of how it's laid out. All stolen items are marked with an S and grouped together like this. Weapons and armour tabs are also set out the same.

Need a piece of music "Sorrow themed" for game. RMVX ACE

This is for a bible themed game when the crucifixion is taking place.

There doesn't seem to be (at least to me) anything appropriate in the default music or the music set which is available for download here.

I was sort of thinking something along the lines of "The Oath" from Final Fantasy VIII.

Any ideas for something suitable?
