Looking for a short, easy rpg with a lot of really good dialogue to feel passionate about.

By Short let's say around or under 8 hours.

I wanna find a short, serious, easy rpg that has a lot of really good dialogue that I can really get into, and feel passionate about. Something that doesn't require strategy, puzzle solving, or qtes.

Can you please recommend some great shorter, well paced games on this site?

Before I begin, I apologize if this intro post is hard to read, and would love some feedback on how I should edit this so it's easier to read.

I'm having a lot of success finding comics that I enjoy based off of recommendations, so I figured that I'd ask for them here.

I'd like to play some short, well paced, games on this site. By short I mean say...maybe 5ish hours or less, although I'd especially love some games that are over in 3 hours or less.

I'd prefer them to be serious as I don't usually find comedy games funny, but if it's got a bunch of clever jokes with actual set ups and pay offs, please do recommend it.

I'd prefer that it be something really fun and/or really compelling with a lot of great dialogue from very compelling characters:

If I'm gonna play the games myself, I need them to be not too hard, and without puzzles, as those tend to destroy the pacing for me. That said, if you can recommend a well edited longplay or lets play of the game, by all means, recommend

Here's some examples of some of my faves on this site:

Incitment 1 and 2
A Blurred Line 2.1
After A.I.L.A. Genesis
Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance
Three The Hard Way(One of my 2 faves)
Onyx(One of my 2 faves)

As you can tell, most of these are pre-2010 and they're all rpg, but I'd love to add add more recent games to the list, as well as some non-rpgs to this list, especially if

Some of my favorite games that aren't on this site:

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines(My favorite game)
Baldur's Gate 2 EE
The Witcher 3
Max Payne and GTA 4(My 2 favorite action games)
Unavowed(My favorite pure adventure game!)

I also recently came across the demo for one of the most pure fun games I've ever played, Anger Foot. It's just non-stop kicking doors apart, and kicking and shooting animal humanoids to death.

[RM2K3] How do I make a restoration item have infinite uses?

I can't remember how to do so, please help.

Where did all the rm2k and 2k3 titles go?

I went on the site today, and the vast majority of them aren't there anymore. What's going on?

[RMVX ACE] A lot of the recent projects lack a RVPROJ2 File (.rvproj2), why is this?

First of all, I apologize if this comes off as rude or creepy, it's not my intention. I'm just a bit on edge due to having the worlds biggest black eye right now, am having a hard time focusing my thoughts. And on top of that, my words were formed a lot better last time, but the site ate my topic, and there was a notice of it so I doubt that it was deleted.

Anyways, why is it that most projects put on here lately lack that file? As I tried to say before, I'm someone who will often open the editor if I'm completely stumped on what I need to do to next. And again, placing that file in the games folder doesn't work either.

Is there anything that I can do? Please, help me if you can.

Can't seem to check out the more recent VX Ace Projects, please help[RMVX ACE]

First of all, sorry if this is a pain to read. I have the worlds biggest black eye right now, and it's not so easy to focus.

Ok, so it's like this. I often open projects with the editor when I'm stuck in them, to either check the map to see where I need to go if I'm absolutely stuck in a dungeon, or can't find a certain npc in a game, but I've noticed that I can't with the newer vx ace projects. I've noticed that it's a problem specially with downloads that are in this blue extractor, since they don't seem to have a RVPROJ2 File (.rvproj2) file, and putting one of those in the game's folder and trying to open the project still doesn't let me open it.

Is there anything that I can do, or am I screwed? Please help me if you can.

[RMVX ACE] Where are all the 10+ hour long story fouced turn based VX Ace RPGs?

First of all, this topic is not meant to put down anything that is different from what this topic is about. Please, don't turn this into a a topic where we talk about "how superrpgman hates anything besides this." I just want to talk about something specific here

So I wanted to play a completed project that's serious and turn based, where plot and characterization take place over combat, and I haven't played a lot of VX Ace projects, so searched through all 8 or so pages of completed projects.

The only thing that I could find that fit that criteria sadly was Incitement 2, which is a just plain GREAT game, but I've already went through it. Literally everything else seemed to be either really short, comedic, or a dungeon crawler. Those kinds of games are fine, but it just seems so odd that what I'm looking for doesn't exist.

Are there really no others? If so, why is it that no one has completed anything under the engine like this?

Does anyone know why this is the case?

Looking for some short, easy games to play(Please read intro post.)

Simply put, I'm looking for some short, easy games that happen to give you a quite good experience considering their length.

I'd prefer to keep it to rpgs and action games, but feel free to to suggest anything that's short(IE: A few hours or less) and easy(or at least not something hard).

I don't care how old or new the game is.

It does however need to either be complete, or part of a complete series(that the author is still working on.)

Just please, provide at least some details about what you're suggesting.
