Whew, I just beat the game

this game is looooooooo-

oh, and I've taken a bunch of notes so I'll try to whip up a review pretty soon (this weekend most likely, I have a bunch of school-stuff to take care of)

I found a few more bugs and glitches here and there, like a one-time crash at one of the last bosses (although it seems to have more to do with rm2k3 than anything, I couldn't replicate it) and hazel appearing twice towards the end but that's without looking at my notes

I just toned it down to very dark, it looks pretty bad. I'd recommed screwing around with a bunch of different colours (darker ones are usually easier on the eyes)

I don't have a list but of the top of my head there are a bunch of glitches you might want to fix.

virtually every map/chipset has pathing issues, I'd take a look at that. Also meeting elmyra the first time is very easy to fix (look at the map and you'll see what I mean) and consider balancing thunder craft vs everything else

also, antibody and clear mind do not block poison and confusion respectively? I'd look into that

oh and, when playing as algad, I earn money for dirk and the team, that seriously skewed what I thought was pretty well-balanced money-earning up to that point. I mean, showing off Algads skills is good and all but he pretty much wipes the floor with his beam so it gets pretty old fast. Maybe disable the encounters for him (or just remove all gold he earns).

Also, the cavern south of Neal has 1 encounter in it. I think there was supposed to be some enemies there

I have no gripes with the ATB-speed but maybe it's because I've equipped my entire party with thunder-crafts from the start to max out my agility, because the stat is completely broken. If the game was balanced with this in mind (say, tunder-craft giving only 2-3 agility bonus per level instead, same with the scrolls), I would imagine the battles to be a real drag. I'll get deeper into this when I get to reviewing the game.

Oh and yeah, the default menu is a complete eyesore - I changed it manually after 5 minutes of playtime

but I agree with Skie, even though I haven't played any other entries to any greater extent
