Concern: Is my project difficult to understand?

No, honestly it seems like they were complaining about your game to be 'funny', you can tell they are trying to emulate game grumps even down to their intro. I wouldn't give their feedback a second thought, to be honest.

What CPU and RAM capacity do you have?

Simple enough question, I'd just like to get a decent assessment of what the average RM user has CPU and RAM wise. I think it would also be important to know for everyone else, if they want to get a feel for how their game might run in contrast the average user's computer.

I'll start: developing on a 4790K with 16GB of RAM.

Some screenshots of my cyberpunk RPG that has been in development since the dawn of mankind.

It looks a lot better in motion, but I'm too lazy right now to make gifs.

No idea why people aren't responding to this. Holy cow this game needs to be a thing. Have you played VA-11 HALL-A by any chance? I'm getting that kind of vibe (that's a complement, by the way).

That looks gorgeous! Demo soon? :D

If you have any sanity at all (or any amount of common sense), you'll AVOID the market until Monday, Tuesday to be safe. Can't even get a pint of ice cream due to all the chaos of Easter...

Atheists get a free pass because they're not required to think.

History is ripe with people who claimed to work great deeds in the name of their "gods" and gained from it. They filled their houses with idols of wood and clay. Where are these idols now? Destroyed.

I have no idea what this post is trying to imply. Are you saying that monuments of a religion being destroyed are symbolic of dead gods? Because I'm pretty sure plenty of churches have been destroyed over the last 2000 years...

Edit:

I think we both want the same thing here: for people to see the truth behind their false deities.

Oh god the irony is palpable

Absence of Proof != (not equal to) Proof of Absence

Unfortunately, it is. If I do not have proof of my claim, then I can say literally anything and you have to take my word as fact. I don't mind if you have your beliefs, I can't talk anyone down from their religion nor do I wish to. What bothers me is people who claim the sky is falling over and over because someone will inevitably believe them, and some people go as far as to kill themselves to avoid it (yes seriously, look up any number of different cults that commit mass suicide). People have been singing the same tune since the dawn of time, and yet day after day people continue to keep living on. If your head-cleric (I don't know the nomenclature) is the one telling you these things, I would proceed with that religion with caution.

Reapergurl: What gods? Do you have proof of these gods or their hatred? Or sins? I feel a lot like I just read the introduction to some sort of near-apocalyptic JRPG. Not to be an asshole, but if you are going to make some claims like that I think you should have some sort of evidence.

Gotta admit I didn't think I'd be hitting the "my schoolmates are getting married" stage so soon....

@Mirak: I get what you are saying, but I think it is toxic to base your level of success/progression on something that you ultimately have no say over. It might be cynical of me to say, but it seems more worthwhile to focus on yourself and let a partnership naturally happen. Forcing a relationship or something to that degree seems unhealthy. I'm not saying I'm not happy for people who find relationships, I'm just merely making the point that not-finding someone isn't necessarily a bad thing, and I personally know people who would typically be 'too-late for marriage/kids' are very much so enjoying their life.
