It's always a good idea to write out the exact error message, instead of saying 'there was an error'. General Troubleshooting 101.

Not just that, even when changing my profile picture or description, it just gives an error when updating D:

Is this about displaying "showcase games"? I think I recall seeing you post about that earlier, and I have no idea if anybody answered you. If not, read the hopefully helpful hide-tag!

It's under Account Settings, near the top. The User Title input is above it, and the Contact Information sub-section is below it.
