Well, I'll be releasing a free version where you can play all the way through on Normal difficulty with the male player character, so maybe wait for that?

This was a game jam project that turned out nicely enough to develop into a finished product. Also, I have a collaborator on this with ambitions of getting into full-time gamedev, who wants a commercial release in her portfolio.
Still working on Future Ghost, and learnt a few tricks I can use for it as I was making this and MetaMyth, both game jam entries.

Okay. Managed to DL it (both the file linked from here at RMN and the additional link above) and it runs fine, but I currently have no access to a second PC for testing...

I'm at work at the moment, so can't do that right now, but I'm not having any issues at all with the latest package. Maybe it's a Google Drive issue. The new upload may not have propagated properly. I'll check on it.

Dyluck, the new demo is up. I ran the exe, and didn't encounter the problem present in the previous version. I guess RPG Maker just spat out a bad build last time around. Sorry, should have checked the previous exe before uploading.

Hmm. Good to know. I'm doing some tweaks at the moment, so I'll ensure the next build works 100%. Currently unsure of what could be causing it, though...

That's weird. I did get that one time, and I can't figure out why, but restarting fixed it (either hit F5 or close & run again). Hopefully that'll work for you too.
Of course, I'd prefer to find a proper fix for it. Will look into it.
If that "meantime" fix does the trick though, I'd be mighty appreciative for your feedback after a play test!

Thanks orochii! I've tried to put some subtle humour into it, to lighten up what's a pretty serious, sometimes heavy, story overall.
