How does one sign up to Slack?
Or, a better question, how does someone sign in? I'm interested in joining that "Slack", but I have no idea what I'm doing to even get into it.

You create an account and an admin (I'm one of them) will have to accept you.
Do you invite me, or do I attempt to join, or something?
Either way, my account for stack is angerincarnate64, I think.

I think you attempt to join.

I see. Well, I'll take a look and see what it can do for this project later. We'll stick with what we know for now. This is already complicated enough.

Yeah I think sticking with the engine you've got would be best for this current project. I just demonstrated as something to consider down the line for future events.

It's been out for quite a bit now, actually.

For starters, it actually allows scripting and there are a ton of stuff like new characters, interface changes and whatnot.

I also hope you will allow me to continue this project for you.
Have you tried reaching about this, if you're serious?

This person hasn't, but I'd be open to lending it to them or orochii.

Btw Kentona, what's the deal with Castle Masterpiece Set 2? I was looking forward to LPing 1 & 2 but the 2nd one never got released.

You'd have to talk to Seiromen. I think he runs that project?

Going, Going, Gone

Just wanted to pitch in and say that I understand where you are coming from, Luchino, and I wish you well on your future endeavors.

You've got talent!

Stage List

I just played Isrieri's level. I agree that it's too hard, but it's definitely salvageable enough to not warrant a "skip level" feature (which is always lame).

  • A bit of a global issue with this level is that a lot of your dangerous obstacles are placed just slightly off-screen from a auto-movement path (I'm talking about the conveyor belts and platforms here). Especially with the conveyor belts, you are punished dearly for speeding through it too quickly and avoiding obstacles often comes down to trial-and-error. It's especially awful when you are riding a platform that leads you to a pipe, and that pipe contains a fire-spitting piranha, which I think has a delayed appearance compared to the regular piranha, and you get hit after already dealing with the tight timing you have to deal with when riding the platform/conveyor belt. I know the best way to deal with that is to make a blind spin-jump, but that shouldn't be required.

  • For a level with a lot of pipes, I didn't find any secrets with them! There were some alternate paths that were okay, but I think you can get a way with one or two somewhere.

  • There were many points, I think it's near the final section, where I felt like you could have given the player a break. With generating spinies/ninjis and sawblades this level can quickly become cluttered to the point where taking a hit is an inevitability.

  • Past the checkpoint, I almost feel like the level drags itself on for too long? Or maybe it's just all the stuff you need to do, plus my countless deaths in this level, that made it feel long.

  • I don't really understand why Bots are in this level. They're an unpredictable nuisance and I feel like you already a much better set of core enemies through the spinies, ninjis, and pirhanas that have a much more predictable pattern that both you and the player can control.

  • The section with the pipes that eventually lead to the room with the red pipe has a bit of malicious design. Typically, a pipe that leads to a new area is often at the very end of a path, but this room contains many seemingly enter-able pipes and the one closest to the end of the path doesn't take you anywhere. With the fire piranhas you have to dodge as well, this is kind of cruel.
