I'd be lying if I said EVERYTHING was intentional with this game, though. Some aspects to it, such as the skewed shop systems and the music, were originally ment to work differently. However, as I was playtesting this monstrosity, I just found that those elements just WORKED for what I was going for, so I left it that way.
Which ending did you get when you beat the game, by the way?

So... Did people transfer levels from Super RMN Bros 3 into this project? The other way around? I'm seeing a lot of repeat levels in this.
Heartache 101 ~Sour into Sweet~ Review
The ability to add custom content to this was actually a major plus for me, because it felt like I could experience the game in any way I like to and added more of a "sandbox" feel to it. I will agree, however, that the custom additions don't really add as much to the game as they should have.
I was actually hooked on this game at one point, maybe because I haven't played many dating sims enough to be jaded. I don't think the game is really "2.5" bad, it has some good ideas and tries to add a little variety from time to time, but its progression is INCREDIBLY slow-paced. This and the fact that the game gave the player-character a pre-defined personality, in addition to following the book on cliche Japanese dating sims, and a luck-based gameplay mechanic almost completely turned me away from it.
So, I pretty much agree with this review for the most part.

Can someone explain why all the reviews say 5 stars but are clearly critical reviews? Also why is the reviews tab gone from the main page? I don't understand.
The stars listed besides a game is the average based on the reviews themselves. I don't really know how it's all calculated, but I think that one review that gave 5/5 stars is kind of out-weighing everything else for the time being.
For your second question, I think the author can remove that tab from his pages, and I really hope it's not for a petty advertising reason as to why...

Corfaisus's review is also shit, but it had like 2 sentences worth of criticism so idk.
Doesn't techinically make it better. While it was hilarious to read, both yours and Laber's reviews felt extremely reactionary to the comment war going on between casha and Nouin and didn't really give enough detail as to why the game was good or bad, so much as the motive was solely to alter the score system.
Granted, seeing a game get a 5/5 when you feel it's completely undeserved DOES provide enough motivation.

I read the entire thing as sarcastic.
I say this reviewer's thoughts are SOMEWHAT legitamate, but the overall tone did NOT match the score at all. With this review, the highest should have been a 3.5 or 4 out of 5, not a perfect score.
