STATUS

I’m not really a big time Sonic fan when it comes to his 3D outings, but I’m guessing that the two main reasons why some people like Sonic ’06 is because, A, it showed signs of potential of bringing the series possibly forward if only the developmental team had more time to flesh all the bugs and stuff and, B, because it’s probably the cool thing to hate (since it’s so broken and, um, BAD) that those types of people just want some much needed attention and say that they like the game just to cause a massive reaction out of people.

Personally, I’ve never played Sonic ’06, but I have watched numerous amounts of footage of it online and I can see why some people like it only because it had the potential to be something good if it was handled right. But since SEGA got greedy, well…they f**ked up this one. Oh well, their loss.



But hey, at least whenever I'm feeling down about my own games not being up to par, all I need to do is just watch some Sonic '06 and my heart and mind is soon at ease.

Wow... That actually is kinda sad, lol. This looks, like, 100x better than the actual GBA version just based on the speed factor alone.

Now if only he could find someway to zoom out the camera a bit more than this would be absolutely pefect! But either way, I’m still pretty darn impressed. :)

Ah, GBA. So much screen crunch you could put it in a cardboard box and market it as a breakfast cereal.

Anyways, the second-best part of Sonic '06 is that Crisis City is in Generations. Go ahead and play the Classic Sonic portion of that stage, and change the music to the original Green Hill Zone. The irony is potentially lethal.
