Sir Redd of Novus: He who made Prayer of the Faithless that one time, and that was pretty dang rad! :D

You take a moment to stare at your computer, looking at the completed project. You think back to all the time spent with your nose to the grindstone to make it what it is today. All the late nights spent perfecting this one part, and all the headaches that came with trying to figure out why this character won't face the other way.

But it's over now.

All the ideas, all the mechanics that you've implemented, cut, and reworked are swirling through your brain like a tornado. But as the minutes tick by, that storm is slowly subsiding.

You slowly look up at the wall. Your brain wants to shelf the memories, but not quite ready to let them go just yet. The energy within your body slowly begins to fade. After all, you don't need it anymore, right? You close your eyes and take it a deep, deep breath. You hold it in for two seconds, then slowly let it out. You close your eyes as everything fades to white, and a small smile plays at the corner of your mouth.

If you asked me what does completing your first game feel like, I would respond with... "Quiet"
That was beautiful. :'(
You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to this moment.
Ahh congratulations ;w;
You're a really good writer, too.

That was very well written! It makes me very curious about said game you've completed. Congrats!

Why not make a game about making your first game?

This reminds me of Game Dev Tycoon... do actual game developers play that? Do they play games about making games as they're making games?
