Picked up the Luna Engine. I can see... a LOT of potential with this.

This certainly isn't a pick up and use engine, especially to a non-programmer. But I certainly see what Archeia and the others were going for. It certainly is a lot more convenient than editing Ace's default scripts.

I'll admit, when I tried the battle engine sample a few months ago, I didn't think too much of it. But after taking a look at the premade demos and such, I can see how, with practice, you can make some pretty sweet custom interfaces and stuff.

I can't really say anything for sure right now, as I've just been poking around with it for the past hour and a half. However, this does look really easy to customize your menu layouts once you figure out how it works.

EDIT: By "pick up and use," I mean you can't just take the base engine and make it look like something you see in a premade demo in ten minutes. It's gonna take some work on your part.
I thought you said 'Lua', which I'm planning on learning right now (having given up trying to make an rts on python).

I'm wondering though. What language does it use?
Ruby - it's a series of scripts for Ace that help make it easier to customise window scenes (battles, menus, windows, etc).
