The Legend of Heroes (A Tear of Vermillion)

One of those "whatever" purchases at GameStop for $10. Have any of you guys played it? What'd you think?

The most must-have rpg for the psp

I have about $30 to spend on a psp and I want an RPG. What should I get?

Fringe

J.J.Abram's new (well sort of) show, the thriller about stuff that shouldn't be able to happen...happening and the people who investigate it.

Anybody watch it? If so, what do you think?

It's currently my favorite show, but instead of going into a massive fanboy rant I'll let you guys do the talking.

The Spirit Stone OST

I've posted my OSTs here twice before, and now I've just finished my 3rd with a whopping 42 minutes of music. I've put a ton of work into these songs and I hope you appreciate them.

A fun little math problem for you math wizzes out there.

So there's this guy...
He has 3 children...
The product of his kids' ages is 72...
The sum of his kids' ages is also his house number...
His oldest kid likes chocolate pudding.

What are his kids' ages and what is his house number.

FYI, you have all of the information you need to solve this problem right here.

An RM fighting game...

So I was playing Dissidia recently and I got a crazy idea.

What if there were a fighting game...only the fights took place in the form of an RM battle (engine unclear...probably VX with a turn based system and a side view)? There would be 20 or so characters, and possibly a story to progress through. Maybe a Dissidia board game like style. There would also be an arcade mode pitting you against 5 enemies in a row. Your characters would level up and get stronger the more you played. It could also feature alternate costumes.

Anyways, just a bunch of ideas. To the point.

Assuming this idea doesn't get shot down immediately, does anybody want to team up with me to make this? I could make music, maybe (just maybe) write a story, or anything needed of me. Anybody who can do anything is welcome to do something. Again, this is all very vague, but perhaps we could refine ideas once we have a team put together.

What do you guys think?

I bid a fond farewell to you all.

Guys, I've loved it here. You guys are some of the smartest and funniest people I've ever meet online, or anywhere for that matter. It's been a huge pleasure hanging out here. I'm not leaving forever, but I've gotten very busy as of late and don't have time to hang out in places like this. I will still be making music for you guys, because that's something I love to do, but I'm going to stop posting on the forums as often as I do now. I've never really posted anything of value anyways, so I don't think I'll be missed too much.

In short, I'm going to continue to be a benefactor to this community, just not on the forums.

The importance of Music in a game

What do you guys think? In my opinion, music can't make a game, but it can certainly break it. When a player, plays a cruddy game with great music, he doesn't (usually) care about the music, he just cares that the game sucks. However, if the player plays a great game with hideous music, they'll definitely notice it and it can drive them crazy, causing them to hate the game.

What do you guys think? How important is music in games?

Who's the hottest videogame character?

Who's up for some Dissidia?
