Just an acronym I came up with to save space on the forums.
ANYWAYS...
I've developed a simple Random encounter system that displays a bar that slowly depletes. As the bar reaches zero, a random encounter occurs. It could be one of 11 monster groups and could have Hero Initiative, Monster Initiative, or any other one of those battle settings.
I like this idea as it lets the player stop and prepare for a random encounter before it happens. Also, I plan on implementing a function that'll count how many monsters have been killed in the area. Once it gets to a certain number, I'll have the CRES fade out, siginifying that there are no more monsters in the area.
Does anybody have any other ideas that'd allow me to improve on this system? Do any of you guys have crazy CRES that you've used in the past?

I dunno, since I don't ever really look at the picture thread, I think of people by their avatars. When I think of Craze, I think of a gay guy who looks strangely like and Alex-like character. (with a fairly creepy smile) When I think of Tonfa, I think of this big burly dude with shoulder length hair and a solemn expression. You get the picture.

Known Mafia Roles
So I've just finished my first game of Mafia, and the only two roles I really understand are Vanilla town and well...Mafia. Also, I'd like a clearing up on what exactly Mafia can do during the night along with what the other roles can do. Thanx.
Vanilla Town-
The townies that the Mafia are trying to eliminate.
They win when all of the Mafia are eliminated.
The only way they can win is by Voting to Lynch suspected Mafia members by day and hoping and praying that they don't die during the night.

THE RMN Brawl Tourney
