Isolation

Hi, I'm really enjoying this game and want to see it through to the end. However,
whenever I get to the part right after she takes the sedative and it shows her on a bed the whole game freezes and I can't do anything else.
Good game otherwise. Really curious to see the end.

Turtle Head

I really enjoyed playing this game a lot. I don't know if I'd describe it as terrifying, but maybe tense would be a better word. I felt nervous moving about expecting turtlehead to show up which was fun. I think the only nitpicks I had were the face portraits and how character expressions stayed the same no matter what the situation. I think having a diverse set of expressions would have helped overall, but it's not a huge thing.

That final chase scene in the truth end was especially hard, but satisfying when I finally nailed it. Any chance, given that ending, of a sequel at all? Even if it didn't follow the same characters (for example, maybe we could follow Mason and what he does in future installments?) that would be pretty cool. I liked the story and the puzzles, although some made you pause and think, weren't too hard where you got stuck and lost pace with the rest of the game (which is a plus in my book). Nice job overall!

Sorry the season is not quite right

Nonsense, there is always time for Halloween! I would honestly be happy if this holiday lasted all year round. :) Can't wait for this game to come out, it looks fun

QMS Retold

This is great to hear. QMS was probably one of the first games I played once I discovered the wonderful world of rpgmaker and I loved it. Can't wait to play it again!

Time traveler (Remake)

Aw, I'm really hoping someone will come forward to translate this. I know basic Spanish, but I have a feeling that that will not be enough to have a solid understanding of what's going on in the game. xD;

Townlore 2.0

Hello, I enjoyed the first Townlore and thought I'd give this a go as well.

It was nice to get some backstory into what that creature/girl was in the forest and whatnot in this version. The audio find in the cave was a nice touch. Not too sure what the real point of the mainland was other than to socialize with the professor (show him your specimens) and buy stuff, but it was nice that you included the option to go there! I'm just wondering if I missed anything since I was jumping around quite a bit time-wise. :P

As for the ending, I keep getting a game_interpreter error now every time I try to load the game up. So not sure if I'm missing anything there. Overall I enjoyed playing this though and seeing what would happen next. Nice interactive creepypasta!

Thanks for the bug report, Kattriella!

Moral of the Story: Don't put off testing your game until the last day of a deadline. My apologies for that, I probably shouldn't have tried to squeeze Plus Mode into the contest version at the last minute! XD

At this point, the game's already been pretty heavily overhauled for the commercial release, so I can't really go back and fix up the original version. Again, I'm really sorry you ran into a bug. Thank you for playing, though, and I'm glad you had fun with it! <3

Hi, I ran into this bug also, but I'm really curious as to what happens when
you open the door at the end of the game. Since I can't get through to the end I'll never know. :(

Time traveler (Remake)

Hello, this game looks awesome, I can't wait to play it when it comes out. Your MC's origins are definitely interesting (being the child of a ghost and a human). It's good to hear (from your last update) that you managed to successfully tame RM2k3 when others before you have perished haha. Every time I get geared up to try making a game of my own I remind myself that it takes a lot of work, like with most things. Maybe one day though.

Mindless Box

I don't play otome type games usually, but I thought I'd try this one out because the MC seemed to have an actual personality and the storyline seemed more fleshed out here which is cool. I'm really interested in how the game will turn out.

1. What connotes romance games to you? Is it struggle leading to a happy end, or sweet fluff cg events?

I don't know if I'm a minority here, especially since a lot of fictional romances tend to move way too fast for me, but I like things to happen more slowly, and for there to be a type of struggle going on before characters end up together. I don't know what cg means (Computer graphics?) but I don't mind fluff as long as it makes sense. Like they're not all over each other if that's not their personality (for ex, I don't see this MC as getting overly lovey dovey right away).

2. Is Emily too forced to the point that you can't relate to her?

Not really...she has the "can't be bothered" attitude that I had when I was around her age, and I do know people who are moody in a similar way. I'm hoping that she'll change a bit throughout the story though, to be a little less selfish or insensitive perhaps?

3. Are any of the boys too over the top that you can't find them realistic?

This is a hard question for me to answer. We don't really see enough of them to get a deeper read on any of them. At the moment all of them seem a bit superficial since they're all displaying the most obvious (and somewhat unpleasant) characteristics first, but I'm assuming with time we'll get to know other aspects of their personalities which won't make them so papery. As for realism I've known people who have shown characteristics displayed by all of them. So I would say that none of them are out of the realm of possibility, but some are definitely more common than others (Daniels and Stephens are a bit more common than Jacks and Lucas's from my limited experience).

4. How do you feel about visual novels that include things like item fetching?

Fun. VNs where you don't get to do anything can be boring.

5. Do short dating sims ending in romance bother you in the sense that it doesn't seem plausible for two people to fall in love in that time?

Usually. Unless there are other factors that speed up the process (like them knowing each other beforehand, a note/hint on more time having passed or both of them going through something life-threatening or life-changing and bonding quickly over it) I'm not going to expect two characters to move from general disdain/apathy to love and adoration in a short period of time. So...short answer I guess is it depends on how it's portrayed.

Apologies

That's alright! Life happens. Take care.
