The three tile rule is particularly important for organic and outdoor tiles , especially cliffsides. Try to avoid having more than 3 of the same tiles in a row. Biggest offender: Your cliffs are long straight terrible looking walls that do not look right. I would work on that before anything else :) .

Lol, I didn't really get ostracized for it. I talked politely with Lysander86 and he was uncomfortable with the idea. He encouraged me to work on an original project instead.

I couldn't see those two characters for the life of me. Then I realized my phone brightness was down, so I turned it up and it is still hard to pick them out.

LOL at onion silo...any suggestion on improving them? Is it the shape? the bulb? the color?

I am concerned because we plan to reuse some of these "onion tops" in the next city (color swap, daytime, and slightly different application)

I have hired a pixel artist I met on pixel joint and he is the one fleshing out and detailing my maps (that's why the detail is so high). I've gone a bit blind from looking at this thing too closely for too long and the tops don't jump out to me. HELP

@Frogge- I think you could benefit from adding some variety to the long stretches of ceiling tile.

@punk Unless that house at the end of the second video is supposed to be a gigantic empty mansion, it is WAYYY too big. Also the diamond shape of the rooms here looks kind of weird to me.

@Momeka I love this. So effective. Effects like that make exploration so much more fun.

@theloathableone I feel like this shouldn't look good at all but its sooo appealing to me. I love detailed overworlds. I love seeing zoomed out map locations.
In the snow screenshot, behind the character im assuming thats a village, but it looks a little large compared to the castle in the corner. I know youre working with limited tiles here but maybe consider trying to make the town read a little better.
Just a nitpick, looking nice. :)
