I'm just starting the game and I'm at the point the team had to battle their cat-girl friend I don't know why, and after so many consumables and effort, almost giving up thinking it'd be unwinnable as these battles usually are, I beat her. Got a bunch of exp, loved it. Then she used some cutscene magic and I was like "WTF"! Then Aishee commented on it at the dungeon too, and I'm laughing SO MUCH RIGHT NOW! I'm LOVING the game and these 4th wall breakings! I hope most "uwinnable" battles can be won like that! I don't care how the game progresses from here, for me it's already "10/10 would download again" material!!! Just had to come here to say that before I continued, thanks for this gem RydiaMist!

Hey, thanks for the kind words! It's a bit of a pet peeve of mine when a RPG has a fight like that which is unwinnable, but the game doesn't give any indication of that. For example, when a boss does normal or a bit higher than normal damage, but just has literally infinite HP so the battle is unwinnable even though it should be beatable from a gameplay standpoint. I find that utterly disrespectful to the player. If a fight has to be unwinnable, I prefer the game makes it known by just having the boss do a completely unsurvivable amount of damage in the first few rounds so that the player doesn't waste items or time grinding, thinking they can win the fight. I much prefer when the battle is an optional win, with a cool (but not essential or permanently missable) item as a reward. Most games that do that will do the old "cutscene magic" trick to allow the plot to advance the same way, and I always thought that was silly, even if I completely understand the necessity of it. So, I just decided to have the characters call out the BS, haha. You do also get a nicer reward for winning the fight.
Genji Glove for winning, Gauntlet for losing

The download should be fixed now, sorry about that everyone! I don't know what happened, the file just up and vanished.

Will you ever make a game similar to this or a possible sequel?

Yes! Can't really give a timeframe, but something is in the works. =)

I love the game so much... although, Flame has a couple bugs that need squishing. whenever I press mimic after someone's just regular attacking, she ain't really doing it whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, she's extremely useful with Karina's skills + Limit Ring, it's just that I'd like it if she started to attack, or at the very least, use Spellblade skills as well.

The issue with Flame's mime and some basic attacks is that for those attacks in the game's code, at the time the attack is made they are being swapped out or modified at the time of the attack based on equipment or state. When you mime with Flame, it also checks for that equipment or state since she is just copying the basic attack command. It's something I have looked at but I haven't been able to figure out how to fix. I'll have another look sometime soon though, but no promises since it was something pretty tricky. I'm glad you like the game though!

Sorry. My computer crashed and it took me 5 years to get another one. Did you ever put in that easy mode? Also, is there a walkthrough somewhere online? I like to use those to find everything.

Sorry, no easy mode unfortunately. If you're really struggling though you can send me your save file and I can power your characters up a bit. That said, grinding is intentionally pretty fast in this game so it shouldn't take much to become pretty overpowered.

In the FAQs tab at the top of the page is a complete walkthrough by Firefly84, it covers pretty much everything in detail!

Additionally, several people have done Let's Plays of the game on Youtube that you could reference as well.

Sorry to bother you once again - I have beaten every side quest including Memoria - I cannot access bonus dungeon - maybe not sure how to import cleared data file ? Thanks for any help again !!!

Did you beat the game, and then at the The End screen saved your data when prompted? If so, you can just load that data and it should be available.

I must say -- Great Game !!! But, how do I get to play the bonus dungeon - must have missed something ?? Thanks !!

To access the bonus dungeon you have to load a clear data, and also have to have finished the sidequest in Memoria.
