SANA'S PROFILE

An amateur game developer/spriter at 19 years of age. I'm interested primarily in rpgs, my favorite being the Dot Hack series, but I'm also fond of many others including Final Fantasy, Legend of Dragoon, Star Ocean, Dark Cloud, Shadow Hearts, Breath of Fire, etc.

The game engine I use is mostly VX Ace, though if I feel like it I can switch to another one at any time, as I happen to adore the projects made in 2k-XP, as well as VX which I also use. Below is a list of my projects I'm currently working on, will be working on in the future.

Current Projects:
Tears of Samsara (Current)
ToS: Shards of Xielba (Hiatus)
Synthetic Odyssey (Team, Hiatus)
Butterfly Chronicles: Palemoon (Hiatus)

Cancelled Projects:
NightinGale (Wanted to test rm2k's waters, but gave up on it.)
They Come (Mess made in a week for an event that was scrapped half-way through.)

Tester For:
Lithia (Developer recently returned, though this is still cancelled)
A Reason for Magic: Santoo Rinba (Cancelled; turned into Moon & Star Preludes)
Chaos Divine
The Grandest of Dreamers (Developer's gone missing)

Future Projects:
Stream: Spirits Within
Final Fantasy Tactics: Blood Solstice (A re-balancing hack for Final Fantasy Tactics with a lot of palette swaps)
Pokemon Soluna
Tears of Samsara
What would you do to save those that you love?

Star Stealing Prince Review

So wait...you gave this a low rating because it was "hard"? Oh...dear. I've played hard games before; Epic Elf, before the 2013 revamp for example was impossibly difficult for me near the end, and I still gave it a good score because I found it enjoyable, like how I found this game to be enjoyable.

Whether a game is difficult or not shouldn't bring its rating down, as some games thrive from being hard, like Dark Souls or Ninja Gaiden (No seriously, try to play the original NES trilogy or NG: Black on the XBOX and try not to ragequit~ xD).

They Come Review

Well, the time constraint certainly didn't do this project many favors!
That, and I really didn't try all too hard on this, given that XP kept screwing with me(which I think I've said a few times, but w/e). It got to the point where I just quit caring 'nough to fix it in time for the event.

I wouldn't rate it much higher myself though tbh, but..might wanna say "what" exactly was so bad about the mapping(other than passability errors)? Because, you're not the only one out there that has seen much worse.

Anyway, it is what it is, I'm afraid. And, thank you for taking the time to review this, even if it just made ya rage. :3

Revelation Chronicles: Edel Sky Review

Mana's mostly overpowered since she charges up an extra FP than the others, and because of that, gains access to either of the two AoE attacks that dish out damage around the same as Ether's strongest attack though his only hits one..

She was better balanced this way when the max FP was 10, though as she is now, she's the strongest character damagewise you can play as~ (Which isn't a bad thing! ^o^)

Revelation Chronicles: Edel Sky Review

I pretty much fully agree with this review, lol and having played the version before the Run/Walk feature was included, I did find it quite annoying switching back and forth, so as soon as I discovered that epic bug to disable the thing I never switched back to walking again..

Mana also seemed to be more OP'ed than she used to be, though one thing that I've wondered about while playing this, is occasionally the characters hit for 0 damage on enemies. Is that just a replacement for missing or something? :o

The Dungeon Crawler Review

author=If you don't know what Zelda is, shoot yourself.
Lol, I had a few freshman in my classes this year that couldn't differentiate Zelda from Link. Now I, personally have never played Legend of Zelda games, but I at least know who they are~ :3 (The youths of this generation are already starting to fail with their gaming knowledge! DX)

Dead Host Review

A lot of demos don't receive ratings because that's just what they are: demos. Now, I haven't tried this game out for myself yet, but I feel like this may have been a bit harsh.

Also, that road map doesn't look half bad in my opinion. The zombies may seem a tad odd, but at least they actually "are" zombies~ :)

Rape jokes? This must be the best game!
I couldn't agree more!
Lol, not that I'm for rape or anything..

Epic Elf (2013) Review

Level 20?! I didn't even think anyone could make it to the Knightmare with that level!
Lol, well I beat it with a lv22 party, so 20 is certainly possible~ :)

The secret to that fight is if you get yor dragon to level 40 he learns one of those "Make Entire Party Buff" spells!
How to train your dragon, lol!

@Sana - then you must be crazy cool at this game, because pretty much every boss punched me in the face so bad. I resorted to spamming healing with every character bar two who would repeat an elemental weakness move..
Lol, not really, though I did manage to make it to the final battle(I think?) where you fight both the king and queen together, and then get your ass handed to you when stilmonkey shows up out of nowhere! Now THAT is one insane battle which I couldn't beat even by spamming heals~ xD

I admit, I may have been a little underleveled with a team of lv35-37's~ B3
