RE Revelations was awesome though.

As for Dark Souls, BAH, I can't beat Ornstein and Smough, they are relentless, only when I summoned Solaire did I manage to kill Ornstein, but Super-Smough buttstomped Solaire, and I didn't have enough flask charges left to finish him off (he had over 30% left). So now I don't have any humanity left to summon help, and solo I rarely manage to bring one of them below 50% before they roflstomp me.

Will probably come back later and do some other areas first, was getting frustrated. The rest of Anor Londo was actually easy though, even the archers didn't give me any trouble, just the damn boss duo.

Apart from Fire Emblem Awakening (which is soooo my type of game, might have to play some of the earlier FE games too), I took the plunge and bought Dark Souls again for my PS3 (tried the PC version, and oh my god, such a crappy port). This time I am taking it REALLY slow and steady, and doing ok so far. Just reached Blighttown. I. Hate. That. Place.

Was afraid the most of the Capra Demon, since when I last played he took me like 20 tries, but this time I got rid of him on my second go. And I downed the Gaping Dragon on my first try too! Okay, it was really close when he grabbed me with his hand while I was low on hp already, but I managed somehow. Strangely enough, the Bell Gargoyles gave me the most trouble, had to try like 6 times and was finally able to beat them after I summoned Solaire to help.

EDIT: I am so glad I picked the Old Witch's Ring for my starting gift... or maybe I am cursing myself for doing so, because now I feel super bad about killing Queelag.

After being done with Blighttown, other than the framerate, I kinda grew to like it, it's an interesting place with many great rewards.

Fire Emblem Awakening finally arrived yesterday, so I am putting MonHun3U on hold until I finish that (I expect to get hundreds of hours in MH, while FE should be much shorter, depending on how much I get into it and if I will play the higher difficulties).

So far, so good. And by good I mean GREAT.

Should also be my last game purchase for a while, at least till summer when EO4 should hit Europe (if it even gets released in my country anyways).

Come play LoL with us!

I liked Karma better before the rework, now she looks better, but her ulti and passive are pathetic. Before, you could get 2 stacks of Mantra and use it more than once during a teamfight. You could heal while doing damage, and shield while doing quite a lot of damage. Now she's just... meh.

Still waiting to see a good Zac player...

Sooo, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate just arrived today... IT IS GOOD! Just having a hard time getting used to the controls, after playing MHFU on the PSP for almost 100 hours.

Also melting some faces in LoL with Malzahar. Such a great ultimate.

Etrian Odyssey 4 is on the rage but I'm still playing the second game.
I want a 3DS ;_;

I even have the game itself already. ;_;

I on the other hand have the 3DS, but live in Europe, so don't have the game yet. Bah. "Release:Spring"

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

League of Legends.... Why, when I vowed not to play this game with the shittiest community ever, I do not know, probably because I need something to pass time until Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is released.

Had a few fun games, but mostly it's a 4v5 because someone is AFK or leaves because HE wanted mid (or worse... had a game where the player wanted mid, but couldn't have it, so he just ran into the enemy team and fed them). Lots of swearing, everybody wants to report everyone for everything.... Fun times.

I have to admit though, the few games I played where our team AND the enemy team was competent, wasn't raging etc, those games were lots of fun. But the ratio of good/fun games to 4v5/rage/everything-else-that-pisses-me-off seems to be like 1:5.

PS: There are so goddamn many new champions since I last played, it will take some time to learn what they all can do. But I bought Leona, and she is heaps of fun, never really enjoyed playing support, but I can't say no to so much CC+Eclipse.

EDIT: I think I'll also try to play through Birth By Sleep. Already finished most of my 3DS games I got. Except Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. SO PAINFULLY BORING, I can't believe I wasted money on this, never really played any Zelda games, and this one is supposed to be one of the best.... UGH. Probably just not my type of game, at all.

Your opinions on the DmC reboot?

I don't care about this game. I loved DMC 3/DMC 4, and I also really like the anime, but when I saw "this" for the first time, I knew I wouldn't play it.

They went from a totally cool and likeable character to a complete douche. Nero is 10 times more appealing character than the new Dante, and he was a teenage punk (still liked him though). And the bit about Virgil? REALLY?

Say what you will about the fact that it's supposed to be a prequel when Dante was still a selfish prick, I only have one thing to reply with. DMC 3 was the prequel. You know, when Dante was a punky teenager with no care in the world and a shitty attitude, and then during the course of the game he developed into the "old" Dante fans like so much. It even explains how he got the name for his iconic shop "Devil May Cry".

Sure, I suspected the core gameplay would be there, but the gameplay alone is not enough for me to give this game a try/buy, I'd rather play something else (would probably be a good idea for me to get the HD collection instead, to finally play DMC 1/2, I know the story, but have yet to experience those games).

PS: stupid game title is stupid

TL,DR: Don't like the new...errr, whoever/whatever THAT person is. I sure don't know him, and I sure as hell don't like him. PASS.

Around 130 hours into Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. I think I'm addicted, haven't really played any other games since I started (tried FTL for a bit, but didn't really like it). Not that anything interesting came out recently...

Just as I was getting comfortable with the game, I unlocked High Rank quests, and sh*t got serious. After succesfully hunting monsters from every low-rank quest (fuck you, Tigrex), I first get owned by a HR Khezu (didn't expect those new moves) and then by a purple gypceros, monsters I normally consider "easy".

Really glad I gave the game a proper try after initially being put off by the camera/lack of lock-on/difficulty. And the leveling system is fun. Instead of your character getting XP and levels, you as a player get more and more skillful/experienced and "level up". Beating a monster not by numbers, but rather your skill, is quite satisfying.

EDIT: Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask was 20 hours well-spent. And the 3DS XL is/soon will be an awesome console. Mario 3D Land, NSMB2, Monster Hunter 3G/4, SMT 4, Soul Hackers, Etrian Odyssey 4, Fire Emblem, Resident Evil Revelations... the list goes ON.

Wow, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite has completely taken over my gaming life, I am hooked. Can't remember when was the last time I was able to play a game for this long and not play anything else. I even stopped playing Persona 3 and just focus on MH.

I am so getting a 3DS XL in march, when MH3G (Ultimate) hits Europe. Will also come in handy for MH4, but god knows when that is going to come out outside of Japan (for Japan, summer 2013). Also, Etrian Odyssey 4 and SMT 4 (looks like the 3DS loves the number "4"), and Soul Hackers. I don't give a **** about the 3D effect, but damn the rpg/game lineup looks so cool.
