The chiptune music you had in the game was jaw-dropping amazing! I'm curious as to what they are. Care to divulge the source(s)?

Seeing as you wanted to keep the names as being references to characters in the original, why don't you just try variations of them, like Cain for Kain, or Rosalina for Rosa. Just different enough to not look strange, but similar enough to imply a connection.

Tears of the Sword

No, but it's still in the works. I'll be the first to admit that I'm probably not spending as much time on it as I could, but I do almost all of my testing and proofreading as I progress, so it's not like the way I'm making it is that fast in the first place. I'm trying to get as much as I can done right before I release any more versions of the game.

Tears of the Sword Review

Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the helpful review. I didn't quite get to where I wanted to be by the time the event rolled around, but I figured what I had was adequate enough, for it takes an hour and a half to two hours to beat it myself. I'm also glad you enjoyed the skill system. I wasn't sure how good that was going to turn out, since it requires a lot of player input. The game is primarily character based, so I'm relieved to see that my characters came across well.
Still a work in progress, clearly, but it is definitely shaping up nicely. I hope I can get another demo out soon exactly where I wanted to leave off last time.

New Demo!

Oh, and this is the new download, in case that wasn't clear:

Hmm. I was hoping to get a little bit farther on my game before this event, but this will have to do. I'll post the link to my game and demo when (if) it is accepted.

Befuddle Quest 4 Dead Review

Glad you liked my part. I'll admit, I really did drop the ball on the battle system, but I wasn't sure how much time I was going to have to work on it, so I kept it fairly basic. Oh, and the switch puzzle at the end was to ensure that my submission was indeed a puzzle. If you fail the other parts too many times, you're able to skip directly to the switch puzzle, and I kind of wanted the players to do SOMETHING instead of just failing to pass if they really wanted to skip my submission. Anyway, thanks for the review!

Nice footstep effect!

Hmm. You pointed out just how poor this screenshot is. Out of context, it does look like a barren town, but in the game, this is just a small area of the marketplace in a MUCH larger town, and the screenshot doesn't show that the area really is enclosed. There are more people in the town, but again in context, people have their own lives and don't necessarily have the time to talk to Omen. I wanted to make the illusion of a working city, not really a bustling one.
