I am actually very new to RPG maker. In God's mercy, I was able to complete 3 games. My first RPG-maker game ever was made with RM2k3. :)
RPG has always been a very wonderful gaming genre for me ever since I was a kid.. I've started out with the Final Fantasy series and the original Grandia.. I've enjoyed them all. Now that I've discovered RPG-maker, I can finally create a new fantasy world of my own! :)

(VX Ace) Auto replace a word/term inside the game?
Hello Marrend and thanks so much for the response! And yeah, as you said, what I want is to change what is written already on the event-commands. x(( I heard from someone you can open map data files one by one via notepad and do the find+replace, sadly, when I tried so far, it would render the map file blank after saving the edited version via notepad. x( :(
The script you showed is indeed like a great alternative as well! But yah, sadly, it would still be kinda hard to try and implement the new word on ever instances of it being written. :( X(

(VX Ace) Auto replace a word/term inside the game?
Hello everyone! Is there any way to automatically change all instances of one word/name/term being used within the game automatically?
Like, for example, I wanna change a race name within the game, and it would be quite difficult to manually replace each instance of that race name being mentioned in all texts/events within the game. As I might miss many, and it is also quite a tedious job especially you're already finishing the game. X( :(
So, is there any way I can make VX ace auto-replace every instance of a certain race name being mentioned into the new name I wanna give it? Thank you so much for any response! <3

I got a sweet LP for one of my games! <3 I'll watch it ASAP once I get back home ^_^ So excited! Thanks my Secret Santa! :)
Hmm... I still haven't watched it yet as of typing this, but once I do, I'll edit this post to add my guess of who I think it is! XD
But since its an LP, I'll make some blind guesses for now xD The only people I know who LPs games in the list (at least, ones I know of) are Santa Liberty, Santa Muffle, and Santa bicfarmer. SO I'm gonna guess its one of these wonderful pips for now. xD

SO just watched it, and hmm, I';m not sure if I recognize the LPer's voice, or maybe he used a pitch changing effect. xD :D I still enjoyed the LP and I wanna thank him once again for playing A Maiden's Ballad! ^_^ :)
