Divinity Fatum

I love Yume Niki and .Flow, as well as the other games that are based on their engine. I will definitely give this game a try.

Hey, when you're making a role playing game, WORDS = POWER, I should know (unless you're making a board game, or something stupid, like that).

I've heard of the "Witch's House" from somewhere before, but not "Palette" or "Actual Sunlight" (are they any good?).

Anyways, welcome to Real Men Network! We could always use more writers since the chimps we've seen to brought in from the jungle are running out of bananas to eat and are starving to death. I'm pretty sure there might be a few people around here who could use your remarkable writing skills. God speed. And I hope to see you more around this side of the bush, Stitches. ^^

Thanks for your post Addit! And ill tell you a little about the games.

The Witch's House is a horror game where you control Viola who is trapped in the forest and her only option is to enter the lone house. Bewildering puzzles, tense chases, and insanity spread across the 5 stories of the house. If you are brave you can escape the Witch's evil clutches. However...not all is as it seems. The black cat seems relatively helpful and the house itself is leaving you notes to guide you through... If you pay close attention, and check vigorously, you may uncover the dark secret between Viola and the Witch.

Palette was a fairly old game that actually won the RPG maker Game of the Year award back in 1998 i believe. It is a murder mystery where a Doctor has to help a blind girl recall memories of the past few days and piece together what happened. You jump from room to room switching between two planes of existence to add parts to each room and finish the puzzle. This game can be found on VG Person's game website

Actual Sunlight puts you in the shoes of a an acclaimed writer who struggles with society. He holds a somewhat higher opinion of himself and narrates parts of his own life. Through the game you struggle with pangs of loneliness, stress, and thoughts of suicide. However, this can all be fixed if he learns to accept others and change his views. It is a very text heavy game, but if you are patient it is a very interesting game. FreePCGamers also does some reviews on RPG maker games (I actually do most of them including Actual Sunlight and Paranoiac) so look around on youtube if you want a sort of firsthand look at some games. (Note this game deals with somewhat adult content, as well as touchy subjects like suicide)

Looking for work, I am a writer,

I am a somewhat experienced writer looking to help/work with others on Dialogue, Lore, etc for their RPG(s). I love reading and writing short stories as well as poems. However, in no way am I a professional writer, But I do take pride in my work and can help take some of the weight off the making of a game. You may not think that words hold much power in an RPG, and sometimes this is the case. However, I have played a variety of RPG and Adventure games from the Shin Megami Tensei Persona and Devil Survivor series to Radiant Historia, as well as some of most well known or loved RPG maker games like The Witch's House, Palette, and Actual Sunlight, and it is very evident that the right words can immerse the player in your envisioned world, or take all of the fun away. I aim to help and breathe life into the world of RPGs through dialogue and lore. If anyone needs help or a designated writer, I am almost always available. Please PM me if you have any questions or need my help.
