Editing, I'm not sure, but I've used OBS for quick & easy video capture, and making GIFs! It's free and not toooooo complicated, and it has some nice features.
I should start using OBS. I've been using Bandicam, but I have OBS. A big thing that stopped me is that it does really weird things to my video capture.
OBS by far (the offline option of course). It's typically used for streaming but incidentally a lot of features make it easy to setup recording faster. I use adobe premiere for editing and sometimes after effects for heavy duty stuff.
I use Camtasia but expect to pay a bit for it. It lets you edit all sorts of stuff as well as upload via the program itself. Has multiple sound channels too, which is useful for if you have microphone sound and system audio that are different levels to each other.
Yeah it's part of the XBox thingy iirc? Like, you can open a 'gamebar' and press a little record button and it'll record it? I've not really used it but it seems good for default functionality anyway.
