I'll be sure to do that going forward. Thanks for the helpful response!

Local Co-op play-testers wanted!

If that's the case (assuming you're a moderator or something) feel free to delete this thread. But to answer your question, yes, I did make a blog post actually.
I just didn't realize there was an issue if I did both.

StudioDaeera's Coma State Eden

Howdy,

I just finished a big update for Coma State Eden and I'd like to see who from this community would be interested in playtesting! If you have a lower end PC especially, as the most recent major updates involved important performance improvements.

If you're into games that ooze with character, have a kickass chiptune OST and do some pretty unique things not seen in other video games, you won't be disappointed with CSE. I'll let the work speak for itself though.

Enjoy! :)

@StudioDaeera = I only see 1 game on your user profile? Do you have another account that you are talking about with the game you're referring to. (ie. The one that I did a video for.)

https://rpgmaker.net/games/6072/

It's on my original account, unfortunately the game files are deleted/I don't have them anymore
Although, a couple of video clips are on my older YouTube channel.

Here's a porfolio piece, the earliest entry (in the game design section of my website) to show off my game design experience! (Large image warning!)

Kory,

I remember you. You played my Sakuru Chronicles game on VX Ace and made a video about it! Pretty sure that was you at least. Cool to see you're giving PGMMV a try now.

If you'd like to see the kind of potential your PGMMV games can have when you know what you're doing/understand the engine (with using very little or no code in your game), check out mine:

Here's its homepage on itch.io
It's got a 4.9 star rating (from 28 total ratings!)

For anyone who likes twin stick shooters, kick-ass chiptunes and something challenging: you'd probably like my PGMMV game, Coma State Eden.

Here's what I've updated into it recently. Visually improving the game's first boss and other things.

This is the rpgmaker.net page for Coma State Eden.

This looks super cool, to be honest. I didn't know about it because I don't browse itch.io terribly often. If there was a project page, I'd have been all over it.

I've been a little busy with school so I have forgotten to respond here sooner.
There's a project page for the game on here (linked in OP.)

I can't comment about this game's response on itch.io versus how long it's been available there. However, my basic response to this thread can be summarized as: "Who are you, and what is this game you're talking about". I am probably not the only person who might have that response.

What might have helped you, though, at least as far as this site is concerned, is to be more active? You've been registered as a user on this site for about a month now, and this is your first post here. In that regard, welcome to RMN! Share your creativity with us! If you have a Discord account, I would suggest putting up an add (as it were) to your game on the Showcase channel. That might get a few more responses, or at least some buzz on your game, than what you're doing now. Which is apparently sitting around, and waiting for users to discover that gamepage on their own?

Ah, good point. Maybe I'll elaborate more in the OP of this thread.
I have been sharing my game around on Discord, however I have not been that active on this site. I do have an older account but I still wasn't a frequent poster back then.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Hello, everyone. I'm StudioDaeera, but you can call me Studio for short.

I'm a game developer who's terrible at coding, but pretty good at using these 'maker' type engines. Spent most of my life playing with RPG Maker and Game Maker. More recently I switched to PGMMV and made my current masterpiece!

I'm curious if there's something about the game page that has resulted in such little interaction compared to the total views so far. I thought it might have to do with the audience on this website mainly being interested in RPGs, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. If it's something else I'd be interested in knowing. If it isn't anything in specific that'd be good to know too.

What do you think of the game and the game page?

It gathered more views than my itch.io homepage in much less time, but on itch.io there have been more downloads.
