Hero's Realm Review

I do agree with the others here, most of the complaints you have are conventions of Old school RPGs, which would be valid if you were reviewing a game that did not advertise itself as using "Classic NES-era and SNES-era RPG gameplay" but it says so right on the tin, so the straightforward story, silent protagonist and repeating lines were a given.

And While the combat system does have some problems, remember that this game is almost ten years old, the Utility you mentioned did not exist until last year, this game was pretty much stuck with that, there was nothing that could be done about it. But instaed of seeing if that was something within his control, you instead breated him because you did not enjoy it.

This is a trend among most of your reviews in fact, you seem to be rating them based on personal enjoyment rather than overall quality, you play games that clearly are not your cup of tea, and then complain that they taste like coffee so to speak. And no, your glowing review of Umbral Soul doees not count as a counterpoint to this trend as you played a game that advertised itself as tasting like Tea, and then praised it for tasting like tea.

Reviews are supposed to be an unbiased as possible look at something, to do them requires distancing yourself from your personal feelings as much as possible and considering all points of view, this is a mistake I made the one time I reviewed something. If you want to gush or complain that is what posting on the game page is for, not reviews.

The Last King of Hyrule Review

the first couple temple stages were so good that everyone was scared to make any more and felt they were unqualified.

Not really, Shadow Temple V1 was one of the first and, well I'm sure you remember how it turned out since you made it actually good...
